That interrogation was tense! I almost wanted them to have it be a “Did we just become best friends, yep!” moment of friendship, but would’ve been way too ridiculous. Ridiculously awesome, that is.

That’s kinda what happened in our first hunt! We were taking on a small-ish lizard when it starts limping away. Suddenly, out of the corner comes a T. rex that just starts chomping down Jurassic Park style. The 5 strikes later, our prey was vanquished!

The demo gave you preset things, so I didn’t pay any attention to all the crafting stuff. I just grabbed a big sword and went to town (forest, desert, etc.)!

Put a few hours into the beta this past weekend with some buddies and it was a blast! Watching dinos suddenly pop into screen and fight each other is amazing

I love coming back to a hard game years later only to find out how much better at it I am!

Dang, sounds like they fell really hard into the “bigger/more complicated = deeper” trap that instead makes it unnecessarily more convoluted, which really reminds me of the first game (which I found just okay) but somehow with even less direction.

Agreed. As it stands, it’s just Persona 4's group meetings, but without voice work or playful messing with each other, which is everything, haha
