So you have nothing objective, logical, or substantive, and just have highly personal/subjective grievances against it that you can’t have a good faith discussion about.

Right? I can appreciate having soft spot for XII and XIII - they have their charms. But to prop them up while putting down IX of all entries, is so unhinged! Literally some of their best work weaving a coherent and cohesive theme across the plot and every character arc without treading on the same ground for them…
Respect to this man! While I think IX and Tactics are best of the PS1 era, with really solid writing for their stories and character work, VIII will always be my personal favorite for being my first game in the series!
This would be the only path that would be really surprising given how the last one ended with them breaking free from “canon” to remake the story. Literally anything could happen now, so nothing will be as shocking as it seeming like she gets to live, only for it to play out the same as the original. They could have…
My introduction to this series was Samurai Warriors 1 on the Xbox, and these have a guilty pleasure (actually no, I’m proud to say I like these!) ever since! Like you said, it’s fun! It’s cozy! It’s satisfying mowing down wave after wave of goons!
Also a nice little reference to this scene from the first one!
That scene of Grogu saving them from the fire made me immediately think of Groot’s sacrifice, so I’m glad someone mentioned it too! Even the music for both scenes sounded really similar to me, haha
Yeah, you should give it a shot again! There are a few spots where you can go off in several different directions to do things in whatever order you want, including fighting bosses. Although, with each boss that’s defeated, the others gain a power boost and that’s the game’s way of scaling things up as you make…
I would like to suggest ENDER LILIES: Quietus of the Knights, which I played recently and really enjoyed! It’s an interesting cross between the gameplay of a Castlevania (with more limited movement options and multiple weapons), the worldbuilding style of a Soulsborne (but much easier to understand and is not as…
I’m enjoying a bit of success with this location with my destroy deck! I just keep throwing Deadpool and Sabretooth at it until Death has a really low cost, then I throw Sabretooth with Prof X onto the bridge and usually get it! Then Death goes somewhere to secure the second zone. Works pretty well!
Man, I loved the Altar of Death with my destroy deck. Deadpool basically worshiped at that altar, hahaha
For sure. Killmonger is just so widely used, Armor might not even work, especially with a Torch that’s moving around constantly
I love playing a move deck, but yeah it’s pretty predictable. Most of the time when I’m all set up, the opponent will just retreat because it’s obvious I’m going to win!
I love playing my move deck and have both Torch and Multiple Man! One of the best combos is with Hulk Buster, which really boosts Human Torch’s doubling effect after using Cloak or Doctor Strange. He’s so vulnerable to Killmonger though, so I often rely on Multiple Man and Hulk Buster, haha
Yeah, it’s such a baffling decision to move incredibly important story beats (Episode Prompto and Ignis, especially!) into DLC so when you play the main story and Prompto’s big reveal happens, I just threw my hands up in utter disbelief that they would handle what should be a huge reveal in such a terrible way.
I also played it several years after initial release, and from what I can see - it is dramatically improved from the initial game. The story, as sloppy as it still is, was missing even more stuff (like, you may have noticed near the beginning of the game, there was a whole sequence with brief looks at the fall of…
Almost everything done to expand the story in the VII-verse has been poorly done and clashes terribly with the original! But even setting aside the argument about continuity (which I don’t really like using in discussions of bad writing) it’s not a good story or good world-building... Other than the ending! My…
It’s such a wacky concept! I’m still having fun even when I mess up terribly, hahaha (which happens a lot)
Man, that would be great. My favorite deck right now is based on moving cards (Vulture, Human Torch, etc.) and have been waiting so patiently to get Dagger to go with my Cloak!
Not sure about this smack talk idea, but I just want an emote for, “It was Agatha all along!” that automatically pops up when you end a game with her so everyone can have a laugh!
