I had a great time watching The Marvels, but I’m sure that’s just because I like outstanding actors, sharp comedy, human connections, and fun action, like a fool.

Fully agree that the shift from premier JRPG maker to moody boi/girl (Looking at you Tomb Raider) Action RPG maker has seen the company deviate from the formula that made everything they touched a hit.
I once worked as an executive at a software company that prided itself on its dedication to user privacy. Imagine my frustration when board members would periodically want to meet with my teams and I to wax poetically about how they wished to.....monetize user data.
Wow, Squenix is just on the wrong side of literally every issue aren’t they
So Square Enix, whose entire marketing strategy is going to TEDx conferences to look for random keywords they can slap onto their quarterly earnings reports will... continue to use this as their entire business model.
Wouldn’t that be a crazy thing? All this hype and misdirection, everyone thinks she’s going to live and this is just dragging out a forgotten conclusion, then she just dies the same way and it blows everyone’s collective minds.
The surprise: this time it’s happening exactly the same.
... that plot point wasn’t scrapped. You literally launch the rocket at meteor.
It’s nice they’re added so many playable characters, but I’m thinking it’s maybe too many. they need to figure out a way to pare down the roster. Bonus points if it fits into the narrative.
I think that’s a disingenuous take. It absolves the development team for introducing deep ideas they couldn’t —- or wouldn’t —- deal with in any significant manner. The game explicitly sets up a world where slavery exists in mass form; the game is responsible for then navigating that appropriately.
This is like the best 1:14 seconds of the movie and I rewatched this scene a million times on Netflix to get a quick laugh.
Wasn’t Ms. Marvel the first time anyone said “mutant” in the MCU? Sounds like a big deal to me.
I kind of like trying to create a deck that works well with the featured zone. I do agree that Rickety Bridge is more annoying than usual. My biggest problem is that the deck I created for it doesn’t fare well if Rickety Bridge does not show up.
Yukiko didn’t know what she wanted, like many teenagers: she hated the feeling of being trapped by the inn, but the staff there were also like her family, so it ultimately meant enough to her that she stayed. She just wanted it to be her decision.
I currently just entered pool 3 and got some great starter card and experimenting on 2 different deck.
I don’t see how anyone can complains. Who cares how someone else enjoys a single player game? The option is off by default. I’m open to hearing legitimate sides of the argument though because maybe I’m just not thinking of something
Damn, I do love me some games with that sort of feeling to them... 🤔
Xenogears was the shit. I was looking for another big crazy jrpg after FF7 and Xenogears did not disappoint. It's bonkers labyrintine plot and massive cast of characters made FF7 look like a Saturday morning cartoon in comparison.
Part of the reason I could never really get into the Xenoblade games was due to not only playing Xenogears, but also all the Xenosaga games. I was expecting more Xenosaga which Xenoblade is not.
Looking strong John.
