I make sure to watch The Ember Island Players every few months.

That ending is so fantastic! I really should look into this game

Currently playing through Cold Steel right now as I’m typing this! (Thank you, PSN sale!) Holy moly, am I hooked. I think I’m actually enjoying it more than I did Trails in the Sky!

All the props to any fellow that prefers the Digimon TV show over the Pokemon one! This game has been on my wishlist for a while and can’t wait to pick it up once my backlog dies down a bit.

Oh that’s rough man. Glad you found some things you like on your system though!

I must need to rest my eyes, and maybe I’m just to used to seeing the word “mod” used with Skyrim, because I thought the title of this article said “No Man’s Skyrim”.

True, it’s fallen into a lot of traps, where they seem to think that changing the words and worlds is enough to make it seem different. It’s not. It’s just the same game with a different skin.

I’m enjoying the combination of everything. Feels like I’m playing The Uncharted Mirror’s Edge of Arkham!

I’ve always been a fan of IX’s writing! It’s attempts at Shakespeare are very endearing to me.

PS3. Unfortunately, no PS4. Yet.

Now playing

I picked up the Capcom PSN Humble Bundle, so I’m playing Remember Me for the first time. I’m so in love with this song!

They haven’t all been bad! But yeah, XIII is definitely the worst offender.

Yeah, they stuck the majority of explanations in data logs, which is just, what?

Yeah, they could’ve just as easily used more common fantasy terms for those things, but it feels like they were trying to create a unique world. Which, I suppose they did, but it did not feel natural at all.

Very true, it’s even worked well in many Final Fantasy games past!

Sounds fun! But man, I find that I often hate it when a story starts and they just throw all these proper nouns at you and terminology unique to this story without any context for what those words mean. It’s like when I play a Tales game and they just throw this word (if you want to call it) salad at you and I still

Have always been a huge fan of Cecil’s journey to redemption, and man are you spot on about the story-gameplay symbiosis! It blew my mind when I figured out the key to defeat Dark Knight Cecil was to not attack. It’s so perfect! It’s such a shame you don’t see more stuff like that today. The only thing I can think of

Hahaha, that’s okay, it was a long time ago! I also haven’t written anything in a while, so that’s my bad

I love IX! So charming, funny, and grand! I think my first TAY piece was about it, haha

It has its flaws for sure, but I love it to bits! So many hours spent perfecting the team setup trying to be fair with dividing the GFs between all characters.
