Man, the past decade is such a gold mine of insight into the workings of Square Enix. You just get this feeling like there was little direction or sense of unified vision that caused development to drag on and on. It’s so fascinating to observe!
I was so amazed by how much I liked all the characters! Panther was so awesome to see in action, both suited up and down. Hawkeye felt like Hawkeye for once! Wanda was so much better than in AoU. The Vision in casual sweaters!
Another thing I’d add about why I love this series is its sense of style, especially 3 and 4! It was literally unlike anything else I’d ever played before (though that just may be a failure on my part to expand my horizons). The music, the art! Heck, even the menus look amazing. Did you see the menus in the P5…
