Granted, but the Gamecube port was superior.  Four player couch co-op hooked my friends & I for weeks.

I was momentarily upset, but then I guess it would be on brand for Cliff to be spewing a bunch of nonsense politics that doesn’t mean what he thinks it does.

I think you’re out of luck, for a while at least, if you’re wanting the Star Wars universe to move on.

Disney has clearly re-evaluated where they’re taking Star Wars after the Sequel trilogy bombed. Instead of moving into a murky future without clear heroes and villains, they’re going to mine the established areas so

Man, the term MMO is carrying a lot of different games genres, subscription models, and who knows what else on it’s shoulders.

It’s tempting to look at this announcement by Ghostcrawler, one of the former lead devs of WoW, and think WoW-clone. But honestly we have no idea what kind of MMO they’re talking about right

You’ve drank far too much of the kool-aid.

It kind of look like Peter’s taking a selfie with his step-mom, not his girlfriend, there.  Oof.

I honestly can’t see how they shipped the game without this being a thing.  Multiple ‘social hubs’ that aren’t social are the dumbest thing I have *ever* seen in a ‘game as a service’ title.

It was probably a 24 hour comic challenge.  It’s fine if it’s not your cup of tea, but you can just, you know, scroll on past it.

I dunno, I think this calls for G Gundam.

THIS HAND OF MINE IS BURNING <color>

Man, I hope they similarly de-aged Mary Jane, or their romance is going to look *very* awkward.

I’m someone who bought the game at launch and was severely underwhelmed. The game I was promised in trailers and interviews just wasn’t there.

I will gladly tip my hat to them for working hard these past few years to make up for the mistakes their boss made, but I also wouldn’t trust said CEO/hype-man/whatever his

Ugh, this sounds more and more like a cash in. Lost Legacy was $40, which is at least a fair compromise between stand alone game and expansion.

Is an extra $10 worth it for ‘next gennynes’. I’m not throwing shade, I don’t know. They’ve managed to find the right price point where I’m annoyed but not quite outraged, and

Man, after my experience with PSO2, I don’t think I’ll ever use the Windows Store for gaming software again. As soon as that came out on Steam I downloaded that whole thing again on both mine and my wife’s computers.

...as soon as I could unlock the files on my wife’s computer to delete the old install.

Coincidentally,

*insert cut & paste joke about the game being delayed because G.R.R. Martin is still writing it*

I was going to jump into the comments to be pedantic about a game in a new IP that hasn’t been released yet having ‘fans’, but then I was reminded about the FromSoftware and Martin connections and then it all made sense.

My biggest question right now is about how big the Miles Morales content is. When it was first announced it sounded like an expansion, so maybe the size of all the Spider-Man post game content combined.

But now they’re asking $50 just for the Miles game, and if it’s a full game as big as the original I suppose I’m fine

I mean, I’m here for the humor of this, but to me it just sounds like he always does, adding extra vowels at the end of words randomly for his weird psuedo Italian accent. “It’sa me”, etc. “So long-eh, Bowser.”

Okay, I’m not one to hate on Teen Titans Go or Thundercats Roar, because I’m not their intended audience. (Plus they *can* be actually smart. Maybe not for me on the whole, but a good episode can catch my attention.)

But if we get a Zelda show in that style I will weep, if only because we haven’t had anything Zelda

My wife & I tried Spellbreak the other day, and it was a wild experience. Neither of us are big battle royale players, but I’ve got a bit more of an edge than her in that category.

In our first game we found, to our elation, that ‘hey, we’re pretty good at this’. We won engagements, retreated wisely, and were generally

Honestly, I feel like Zelda is the only one even pushing this line. Now that they’re full on voice acting and the characters are getting minimally more distinct in BotW.

Though, to be fair, Metroid Other M tried to push things in a plot & character direction and that went... poorly.  (more due to execution than

Man, I just don’t get people who decide to comment on articles that they have no insight into.  Way to take up oxygen.
