This is an excellent suggestion. Ask one of the drivers for a copy of their pace notes... They won’t have any for this ride along event but they could scratch some out in a few minutes. Spend the few minutes sitting in the seat before the run studying the notes. Then follow along on the notes during the laps.
Moving violations are a lot more expensive in a E39. Pay the ticket and replace the regulator that broke.
The technology is interchangeable. The application would need to be refined to suit the industry.
Old enough to have worked on Delorean parts. We had a gig making a boss, drilling and tig welding it into the stainless steel headers so Delorean could install O² sensors.
The commercial kitchen industry is well versed in working with #4 stainless steel. Finding the talent shouldn’t be difficult. Affording them is another issue altogether.
