I played HL1 when it first came out, and HL2 on PS3 about two years ago. HL2 was indeed a major disappointment for me because it just felt so abstract and sparse.

Is it weird that I miss shoulder pads on women's clothes?
She looks friggin cool, straight up 80s cyberpunk.
Lots of good arguments for and against Japan in this thread, but you know what? I'd take Hong Kong over Japan for an AC game. The arguments against have swayed me, Japan's been done to death. I still want to play in Asia though, and I love HK. How about a Japanese assassin in HK?
I'm going through a long backlog of games on PS3. Still need to play AC: Liberation. I'll probably get a PS4 in the winter, then I can be a pirate in AC4. By then who knows how many AC games they will have released!
Technically they're not endings, because they have no resolutions. They end at the climax. It's awful. Think of all your favorite movies, now imagine they abruptly go to credits at the climax, foregoing the 5 to 10 minute resolution. Not cool!
The whole franchise is generally cheesy, but Revelations is great because you play a dude stuck in his own mind throughout the whole game, playing Ezio in the past, who in turn relives the memories of Altair. Inception all up in here!
At least there's a sense of finality to that lame excuse of an ending. The sequels have anti-endings, just literally hitting you with credits in the middle of something incomprehensible occurring. It's maddening!
Just finished III myself, so with their yearly plan I think I'll never actually catch up. Revelations is still my favourite, best story, soundtrack, and location.
Needs a cover system too, for combat sequences.
Still waiting for 3D TVs (and cinemas) that don't require you to wear stupid smudgy glasses.
Cyberpunk is coming! CYBERPUNK IS COMING INTO YOUR CORNEAS. REJOICE. LISTEN TO PERTURBATOR, PLAY GHOST IN THE SHELL IN THE BACKGROUND AND REJOICE WITH ME.
It should be noted that Beat Takeshi is a renaissance man, painter, director, actor, author, etc. Basically he's a smart dude with a weird sense of humour.
Not an obvious highlight, but I lost it when he said "daft puzzles".
GTA5 online. Hands down worst multiplayer experience for me, and I've played all manner of online games. The folks in FPS like Battlefield are angels compared to the kind of people on GTA. So much negativity, honestly I don't think anyone was even enjoying themselves in that game, it wasn't even 'ha ha' trolling, just…
Um, in the meantime...Witcher on PS3 or PS4? Maybe? Please?
The repeating levels is probably the biggest reason I stayed away. Shit like that ruins games, like Dead Space 3. But taking the feedback in this talkback into consideration, I might give the game a chance, seeing as it shuns the generic save the world plot...
Ok, you're seriously making me re-consider skipping it, because I loathe save the world plots. Good to hear it tries something else. Might have to check it out afterall, if it has the ambition to tell a story that us puny humans can relate to.
Hopefully I won't have to play DA2 to understand the story in part 3? So many bad reviews of 2, I skipped it.
I love the stealth and combat of the Arkham games, but I hate the world they're attached to. The characters, their dialogue, the scooby-doo story, it's awful and I cannot stand the Joker, argh.
