I've started writing for a site last week. The pay is peanuts (clicks per article via advertisers) but oh well, it's a start.

I already have a theory for this kind of behaviour: Obsessive Compulsive Update Disorder:
I wrote a uni dissertation on Akira if anyone wants to read it. I figured it would be a shame if those thousands of words gathered dust so they're online for Akira fans. :)
Islam goes haywire when hijacked by self-professed leaders, imams, Saudi Arabia and their lucrative black cube (which ironically must surely count as idolatry?), and supplementary books called 'hadith', all of which are contrary to messages from the main book Islam sprouted from. If people just follow the book and use…
The last boss fight of Far Cry 3 was one of the worst I've experienced. Please no repeat of that.
Elder Scrolls have the most generic and lazy storylines ever. I wish The Witcher franchise would move to PS, it looks pretty 'personal' in contrast to the usual 'save the world' nonsense. (no I'm not spending money I don't have on an uber PC)
Loved the first one, shame I won't be playing this one. I'm not in the owning more than one console business, I'm not made of gold coins!
PS3 user here, never owned an Xbox. I almost always play offline, except when I'm playing the multiplayer portion of a game. A game like Demon Souls is the rare exception when I'm logged in, but otherwise I'd like to give my 2 cents and say: offline player here, we do exist!
Really wish I could get into RTS games, but I always get overwhelmed. More comfortable with turn-based. Though I'm on PS3 so I'm limited either way. (got my butt kicked by R.U.S.E, had a better time with XCOM.)
Skyrim is a game that to this day can fall apart to just one frame per second and become unplayable. I think that's even worse than a game that won't let you play at all. I'd rather that than having hours of my life wasted. Every single quest was bugged. Worst game I ever bought, and the final straw when it comes to…
I'm having a hard time comprehending this. I'm too scared to believe. Until it's in my hands, I can't risk my heart!
Awesome, thanks for the heads up, will definitely check out their album.
I wish you guys had done a Skyrim-watch for PS3 users back when we were going through this nightmare.
Unfortunately agree with the dissent in the talkbacks. The game looks like a pale imitation, The Expendables of RPGs if you will, trying too hard to replicate a bygone era.
So glad that I've stuck with Playstation all these years. It's crazy to have an online-only console considering the unreliable state of many American and European internet connections. Online-only may be ok in Asia, but Xbox isn't that popular over there is it?
Blows my mind that Lucas just can't think of any new ideas or characters, continually going back to the same well.
I'd have said Disney will be just as bad and ruin the next trilogy with pointless cameos and forced emulation* of the original trilogy, but they did nab a decent writer so there's still hope.
One of the…
I have fond memories wasting hours of my young life playing Doom. In a way I'm glad this latest entry died. It would have just been a clone of whatever is popular today. Creating a sequel to a game from another era is tricky.
The older I get the less impressed I am of cutscenes. Seeing todays game trailers would have blew my mind back when I was a kid, but back then I was naive. These days, I need to see gameplay.
Has to be a joke, it's loved by all and today is April 1st. I'd love for it to be real, but odds are against it.
I don't mind the current 'k' logo, but prefer the black Kinja style. Only good thing the Kinja update brought with it is the favicon in my browser.
