The only two games of the franchise I have yet to play haha! Well I definitely plan on playing those two via the HD set before tackling this new entry.

I would like a game from Kojima that doesn't involve an encyclopaedic knowledge of the convoluted universe he has created. Things were so simple with MGS1...
Anyone remember the Indy & Last Crusade game? I remember it being unreasonably difficult for my young self.
Wish Total War would come to PS3. :(
My biggest problem is that you have to continually click to read comments. It's mindblowing that its designed this way, as I'm sure 90% of web designers go by the 'three click' rule, which is that visitors get bored after three clicks and lost interest. It's definitely true in my case, I hate clicking excessively on…
Although it's nice that NPCs seem like they're living their lives before we meet them and will continue to do so afterwards, my main problem with gaming these days (RPGs and open worlds anyway) is they still haven't moved beyoned 'fetch this item or kill that monster'. That is what the bulk of the game consists of,…
There was a period in my life where I stopped playing games basically, which is why I missed out on MGS3 and FFX. Definitely need to get round to the HD updates!
The game blew me away. Yes it's a corridor shooter, but the narrative was one of the strongest I've experienced in a game, and the choices felt more substantial than most other games.
Got a thumbs up review from me. Glad Kotaku also recommend people play it too, even if the gameplay is not so hot.
That...was not a good trailer. It was muddled, all over the place, without any sense of rhythm or tone.
Yeah, I was gonna make a sarcastic comment complaining about the state of kids today, then I figured at least they're not hanging around malls wearing hoodies and acting like douchebags.
I didn't spot any trouble the one year I lived in Japan. Soon as I returned to London I was wading through it!
Is it sad that I can never enjoy mashup images like this because I keep thinking about character motivation and how the images make no thematic sense?
Yeah you've hit the nail on the head, the new system just doesn't motivate me to get involved in discussions. What I tend to do is just read the first few threads under an article, then move on.
Yep, the first Kinja update was awful, and though I'm not 100% happy with this new revamp, it's still a much better change. I do like the other peripheral stuff, like personal blogs, etc.
Just to add, I understand it's off-topic, but even so I think off-topic stuff that's at least in some way appealing to our demographic would be preferred over what this article is about. If I were posting off-topic stuff I'd at least connect it in some way to what this website is about. I.e - when the meteor hit…
The hatred poured in Patricia's direction has been very telling for a variety of reasons, and I've been on her side every time she has been attacked.
Yes! I was genuinely surprised by how entertaining and competently it was made, Cory Yuen is underrated. In fact I think it's the best martial arts game adaptation. I reviewed it recently on my site, have a look-see! http://wp.me/p31sEw-dz
If that's fraud then everyone in Bethesda should be in jail for their PS3/Skyrim debacle.
You haven't read the manga lately have you? It's turned into a shitty shonen story populated by kids and fairies. The drop in quality is astounding.
Any plans on doing a Gizmodo and splintering Kotaku to different territories, i.e Kotaku UK, Kotaku NZ, Kotaku Baghdad, Kotaku Mos Eisley, etc.
