Numerous updates to summoning has made Dragalia Lost
feel pretty generous even to a regular player, no “welcome back” trickery involved. I’ll regularly get a 5* drop every 2-3 “Tenfold Summon pulls. That may sound like a lot but since the game gives out currency and free draws like water money is never spent.

Chris, I think you may have been hanging around Mr. Jeremy Parish a bit too much. This article has all the energy of one of his internet igniting Polygon features. Kudos to you for committing and putting small, iterative, upgrades over things like the PSP or Vita. Bless you, good sir.

Am I crazy or did it look like those new legendary birds were Galarian versions of Articuno, Moltres, and Zapdos?

I’ve been an Android user for a few years now and also purchased the desktop app for Windows 10 as well. So this might be a ‘your mileage may vary’ situation, but when I logged into the desktop app today I was notified that I’ve been given a lifetime membership to Pocket Casts Plus for free.

Jeremy Parish, the one man who’s opinion on Castlevania I trust above all others played it at TGS and declared it to be a serviceable riff on Harmony of Despair. I'm not excited but at least I’ll hold off judgement until I've played it.

I wasn’t really looking forward to this part of the game because it immediately felt like a compromise, a half step instead of giving us a true Zelda Maker. Even though Mario Maker proved that players are capable or creating great content, given the right tools, Nintendo still believes we need to have our hands held.

Except that Disney owns both Fox and Hulu. I remember reading somewhere that their R-rated/mature content will exist under those umbrellas.

It is highly unlikely that Megas XLR will ever make some form of comeback. CN wrote it off as a loss and never paid taxes on it’s production. It’s one of the big reasons you can’t purchase it digitally, or even see it on streaming. If it were to make money they would have to be enough to cover the back taxes and, lets

Holy crap that Fathead’s ice pop joke at the end from Bev was.... hooboy.

Is it going to be portable mode only? The original Yo-kai Watch was heavily touch screen based.

I love this! Especially because you can tell how much of an influence Sonic was on OK KO’s character design and world.

Also, Ian Jones-Quartey did some of the shots from the Sonic Mania opening animation.

As a permadeath player, who will reset if a character dies, 1 hit kills on 2% crits are the bane of my existence. In Echoes Mila’s Turnwheel helped mitigate that frustration so I’m glad to see it make a come back in Three Houses

Shadows of Valentia really nailed what I was looking for with a FE game. So I’m glad to hear classic unit supports and a version of Mila’s Turnwheel made it into Three Houses.

This game hews closer to Contra: Hard Corps than Contra III. The color palate, the music, the low fidelity audio samples, character design, the power-up system all scream it. I wouldn’t be such a pedant if it weren’t for the fact that Contra: Hard Corps is often overlooked and it’s influence trivialized in favor of

I read the article and saw that.  I just hope they stick to that promise.

Man, my kids will be all over this. Here’s hoping they make good on it being something adults can enjoy too.

I hope that M2 is behind this one too. My Brother and I owned a TG-16 back in the day and quite a few of the rarer titles. We lost it all when we loaned it to our uncle and it disappeared in a messy divorce. Sigh.

That GIF loop is driving me insane.

Now replace the Blue Falcon with the Mystery Machine and we’re talking.

Considering we just got Yokai Watch 3 stateside last month I think the chances of 4 coming here anytime soon are slim. It’s really a shame because I enjoy the franchise but they’ve continually dropped the ball stateside with the delayed releases.
