Probably not a whole lot of anything. Maybe some Dragalia Lost. I want to finish up the current event with a fully unbound Phantom (even though those 5 star event dragons are never really all that great).

Thank you for this. This was my childhood too. I learned to build PC, get sketch RAM, buy questionable software. I loved it and it is something that people today will never understand.

This has been a trend in Nintendo games (that aren’t core Mario or Zelda) for a while now. Release a product that light on content, keep people invested with a steady stream of free updates that bring it closer to people expected it to be at launch, repeat.

Alternate choice for D. Va - Captain Falcon/Blue Falcon
Zenyatta - Lakitu
Hanzo - Link
Genji - Shiek
Torbjorn - Mario

Alternate choice for Roadhog - Ganon
Reaper - Ganondorf
Mercy - Zelda

Ack! That pic in the header is of THE LCS in Erie,PA, Books Galore.
I only say this because it’s weird to see a pic of the store in a story advocating going digital only.

I have to admit that I have been really enjoying watching the Yo-Kai Watch show with my kids. Yes its dumb at spots but the I really enjoy the lighthearted humor. We bought our tickets weeks ago even though my youngest and I had already watched a sub of it. Even though he couldn’t keep up with the subtitles the

There were two theme songs for season 1. Gera Gera Po was an adaptation of one of the Japanese themes and the other was penned by Jeff “Swampy” Marsh, co creator of Phineas and Ferb.

That’s kinda sad as I think there’s a lot of humor in there that skews older. My wife and I watch with the kids and we chuckle at stuff that goes right over their heads.

How is this franchise doing stateside? I know my kids are obsessed with it but I never really see to much about it.

Warner Brothers mishandling DC Comics properties...

Ah but there in lies the rub: Would you have even known or cared about these games if they were just another clone and not based on the existing IP?

I don’t get the hate either. A competent Zenyatta player will prioritize heals among team members all while being able to help the push by targeting/weakening troublesome opponents.
Lucio’s team wide heals and Mercy’s ulti go a long way in making them support favorites but if you aren’t willing to play the support

I really want to love Wayforward, their games always look amazing, but something always feels off from a mechanical standpoint. Like “This game could have been a real classic but it’s just missing that one thing.” I can never quite put my finger on what that is. Maybe I’m just crazy but does anyone else feel this way?

New Amiibo incoming.

It’s kinda a bummer that there is no use for the cards beyond being scanned once (outside of collecting them that is). The official FAQ even says they don’t care how you dispose of spent cards. That they actually use the word ‘dispose’ tells you the chances of them being used for anything other than the digital game.

No 2099? Booooo!

Landstalker is on steam.

I though it was serviceable but not anywhere near the what it could have been. My kids really loved it though, bless their hearts.

I really hope there is more coming. The idea that Dimensions would be a platform, where you wouldn’t need to upgrade every year, is still really appealing. I just worry since all toys to life brands seem to be hurting this go round. Skylanders, Infinity, Dimensions and Amiibo all have been hitting clearance level
