I wouldn't be surprised if WvWvW played a big part in why they went that route. To be honest, it makes a lot of sense the way it's set up, though I wish they would let you change your home server without a fee if you removed all your characters or something. That should only be a problem if they lock heavy load

I wish it were the 23rd :( We're still getting close though!

I think we, as consumers, are a big part of the problem. Not all of it, but we're not innocent by a long-shot. We've helped to create an environment of hostility and judgement for developers. We scrutinize everything they say and often hold it against them. There's a reason developers respond with "no plans at

And you thought you'd gotten low before. Get outta heah!

There's really no skirting around this one.

I guess I'm not familiar with transmitting displays via cat-5/6. I would think you'd still be in a tough spot for controllers, or even a keyboard and mouse at that range. Even if there are possible solutions, it quickly gets to the point where if your setup isn't in a good situation to begin with, it makes way more

How long is that cable though? An HDMI cable is definitely one you don't want running 50-100ft into another room of the house. My computer is also near my TV, and is rigged to be able to display on the TV, but for a lot of people this may not be the case.

It does get pretty hot if I play a graphically demanding game. Even though the resolution is quite high for the screens size, the screen is also very small. If they're looking for comparable quality on a large screen, the power necessary will be higher, thus potentially higher heat.

I believe the idea is to provide a simple way to display the games on a TV screen. Yes, you can do this by hooking up a PC to a TV, but there are other requirements that go along with that which may not be attractive to everyone (computer needs to be near the entertainment center, needs long wired controllers or

If it's that size, I'm curious if it'll have heat issues. If it doesn't, I'd then be curious about the power of the machine, or how loud it will be running. I know it's gearing strongly towards android market types of games, which may not need as much gpu/cpu power as a AAA title, but I'm interested to know how, or

Bingo. This should be something he's requesting the charity reimburse him for, if anyone. Unfortunately for him, who is going to go to a charity and ask for money back? This is a situation where you call it a day and figure at least the money went to a good cause, if you ask me.

I don't plan to sweeten it at all, or at least not for myself, so no worries. Thanks for the heads up though!

Whoops.

Very nice. I figured it'd be good for awhile, but you never know. Thanks!

I got an AeroPress over the holidays last year and absolutely love it. I now have a project for the evening :]

I always seemed to be walking a fine line when I was trying to get this mod looking fantastic. The smallest changes could send my game into slowdown city. I ended up just saying screw it and went back to vanilla :P

Just craft some frames that set off a camera flash whenever you push them up with your middle finger.

Agreed. I know I'm definitely not.

I hope they strained some muscles because that's one hell of a stretch.

I should have said "cheaper" :P
