Monopoly games last 2 hours+ because most people have no idea what the rules are and ignore so many rules it inherently breaks the game. I think it all depends on whether you have more disposable time or income. If you have more time than income you need to find yourself a hobby that can at least partially sustain itself, otherwise you'll run out of stuff to do. If you've got more money than time you're in a much better boat, you can pick your hobby…
