This was my exact experience, and I became angry all day everyday. At least outside of the city, Hoboken or Astoria for me mostly, the harassment was next to nothing, so I would only move up that way if I were to both live and work outside of the city....

Does anyone know if you have to check your toilet water (the back part of the toilet, not the bowl you sit on) to make sure its clean enough for a bidet to be installed? I really want a bidet, but I'm scared the water it would pull in from that back toilet part would be really dirty :(
