A 2000 GT was my first car. Had plenty of power for a fresh driver, and was easy to repair too. You could take the whole damn thing apart with a screwdriver and a 10mm socket. Ended up doing my own brakes, radiator/hoses, clutch (with help and a lift) and then rewired the audio. I still miss it.

Found the fragile white dude

Who hurt you? It wasn’t your fault.

Ah. I’m up in MD, so probably not lol. My guy still has the Z3M in his family.

Notice how I didn’t ask for any personal information or give any details other than what was already in his comment. Certainly possible that two people who know each other could connect randomly online

Do you still have the Z3? I wonder if we know each other. I know someone that has a car history very like you, but if I remember correctly he was the first to do the Spartanburg delivery. The color is what makes me wonder

On Monday there was a broken down 18-wheeler in the middle lane of I-95 North, just outside of Baltimore. Usually this would cause a huge backup, since it was rush hour, but there wasn’t even a hint of traffic disruption

I got this one last night! Might have worked, if they hadn’t spelled my name wrong

They gave the team a $50k fine, and Leclerc gets to keep his spot

When we did our training, the final question for the “Quiz” was:

On the new X5 and X7 you can indeed change the tires you have within iDrive. There is an additional setting for “Tire Selection” in the TPMS menu

The shop at my place had a 1997 7 series run for 23 minutes on that solution. It had a large audience gathered when it ultimately croaked

The “400k” deposit holders didn’t bother to do any math before they signed up. My best friend was ready to scrape together the money for a deposit... before I told him that his $35k Tesla would still have ~$700/month payment on it, assuming he could even get approved for that much car.

That would certainly shake things up, but I doubt that any of the teams would even consider that idea. I actually like that idea better, but no way Merc, Ferrari, or RB would let that happen

This is an idea I like. Make tires last between 10 and 15 laps. That would force 3 to 4 stops a race, and would make the strategy much more important. Just lose the different compounds, and run the softest tire possible.

I should point out that those numbers are for premium fuel, which generally has a deeper discount. If you use regular, then it might not save you so much.

Not to nit-pick, but as of yesterday:

“TwinPower Turbo” = Turbocharging + Double VANOS + Valvetronic

Totally agree on the F30 steering, but they have made big improvements on the 7 and 5. Hopefully that same system went into the new 3 as well

2012 Clubman S....club. Had mine for about a year and I love it. It’s like a tiny van
