Complete frame off restoration of a 1972 Corvette. Best way to bond, evar :) But sometimes its hard to convince people I really was torquing down suspension components at age 9.  I remember snapping a 1/2" diameter bumper bracket bolt...it wouldnt break free, I was literally hanging on the breaker bar and snapped the

I see a lot of comments and it might be in there somewhere, but am I the only one that is wondering why in hell didn’t Tesla audit the damn car while it was in their possession, before selling at auction?

Four wheel go doesn’t do anything when you are trying to stop!

“What’s the name of that restaurant you like with all the goofy shit on the wall and the mozzarella sticks?”

How it hasn’t rusted out from underneath him, I have no idea.

Claire’s or the Jeep’s?

Somewhat related to 5th gear - if someone was in the market for a vehicle (lightly used, or brand new), would Nissan products make sense?  Would there be real deals to be found because of their current status?  Would it make sense to avoid them because of a shaky/unclear future?

I wish them luck with this.

How the heck do you sell these things? Pretty sure no one has a C8 they want stock wheels for. And Im pretty sure they are fairly unique.

The only question I have is how the German drivers are going to change lanes with AutoPilot.  You need to use the signal stalk to do so.....will they need to be re-trained?

Maybe there was more things hung than drywall?

That’s assuming they actually unbolted and cleaned the throttle body....

I dont think any of those companies forgot how to do any of those things. What they did was try to do those things while making it cost far far less, so more $$$ remained in their pockets.

And that kinda goes back to my original reply...we can pay them until we’re blue in the face and say “well yeah of course they would use what VW/Toyota/Lexus specs”, but the reality is we’ll never really know for sure unless we are able to watch them pour it in from retail containers. I suppose if you always use the

The Toyota dealers around me leave much to be desired in the way of customer service.  I actually dont mind our Lexus dealer too much, but now that its out of warranty there is really no reason for them to see the car every now and again.  The pastries in the morning were good, though!

I never said I actually pay a dealer :) (first oil change was free, I did pay for 1 or 2 more just while the car was under warranty).  I did just what you mentioned....Mobil1 0W-20 Extended Performance (EP not because of 10K mile interval, but because it is supposed to be very high in PAO percentage), $25-ish at

1. I feel like we would really need to see the paperwork for the maintenance, because my guess is they give the cheapest possible everything, including oil. $75 for a synth oil change is actually CHEAP around me (even for my lowly RAM 1500), but my guess is VW is going barebones for the oil that comes with the

And Ford is very good at making sure they don’t need to cover a new engine under warranty.  At least LS’s are cheap to repair.

Especially considering how old the design is. Somehow it was, technically, ahead of its time.

Hit up the B Is For Build YouTube channel and watch them swap an LS into a Hurucan.  So I guess the LS should at least be #9 on this list.
