We went with the ES because we liked the “exclusive” options on the Lex (panoramic roof, mostly), the slightly longer warranty and the overall Lexus experience.
Quiet is relative - the Avalon we tested had the 17" wheels, our ES tester did also. I didnt catch which brand tires on the Avalon but the ES w/17" wheels had the Michelins and the ride was very nice and quiet (nicer and quieter than the Avalon we tested).
I drove a ‘15 Avalon, a ‘15 TLX and we purchased a ‘15 ES350.
Yeah but there are some examples of better mileage now.
