The sight is surely intimidating.
Had a 2 speed PowerSlide in my 68 Chevelle w/307ci. Hated the gas mileage, loved hammering down at just the right moment to get a 2-1 downshift and breaking the rear wheel (no posi!) loose.
Came here to say the same thing!
Yeah but the 2nd one you linked to seems to be some sort of semi-Australian spec model. Is it even legal to register in the US?
I get that, but there are other more “professional” ways to do that.
Actually I do this mostly not because of the wipers possibly freezing to the windshield, but to make it easier to scrape off the windshield. I prefer not having the wiper blades in the way and then I can scrape wherever I want.
At least he didn’t hammer on the fun pedal until the anti lock brakes/traction control caused the vehicle to go up in flames!
Only thing I could think of is people hammering away on the fun pedal when they are stuck because traction control! which in most vehicles just engages various brakes to help you get out of a bind.
Its funny, when you list the bullet points from both sides, the biker sounds like an honest citizen (he admitted doing wrong, after all) and the cop sounds like he hadn’t a clue.
I was thinking that he would say something like “went to powershift, locked up the ebrake” because I think Id be more apt to do THAT by accident than open the hood while releasing the ebrake.
I had an indie shop replace the timing belt on our old Acura. I could provide the parts, if I wanted, and they would charge just labor but the warranty would be limited to 90 days.
That explains the pitch black underneath the car. They are hiding the flatbed it took to get the car to the photoshoot.
You should have seen the guy I used to work with after I told him his Mitsubishi Eclipse actually had a Chrysler engine!
nvm
During our “spring refresh” of all the planting areas my wife has come up with over the years, I regularly need 2-3 yards of mulch and 1 yard of topsoil
Between this and the crinkle in the front hood area, I think they actually crumpled the paper the concept was drawn on and the people that molded the prototype thought they were actually design features.
Dump runs!
