The dumb thing about performance art that serves mainly to shock is that shock is short lived. Art that reaches for a deeper emotion has a lot more impact.

I think the flaw in this theory is overlooking the fact that, in Fallout games, you start by choosing your appearance. If every player is going to choose their own appearance, the fact that the man in the trailer looks a particular way can’t be relevant to what the player character will look like.

That would be a cool twist! Other theories floating around right now posit the game will let you explore your pre-war hometown, and that if the game does let you play stuff from before the war, it’s possible that your actions then affect what you will find once you revisit those older locations.
