Do it. I loved the absolute hell out of Max Payne 1 and 2 and was terrified when I started seeing the tropical shirt screenshots for 3. However, once I got my hands on the game I had an awesome time from beginning to end.

Despite all the great things I've seen about GTA V when I saw the combat was like Max Payne's that was instantly my favorite aspect of the game. I loved IV but absolutely hated the gun play. Now having the fluidity of Max Payne incorporated into GTA? Yea, instant pre-order.

I've played every Unreal Tournament game (except UT3) and still occasionally get on 2k4 and love the hell out of it. Don't think I've played a game since where game play alone kept my attention like that did. Now without ranks or achievements online games get old fast.

I recently finished playing Half Life 2 and the episodes not long ago with the cinematic mod and enjoyed it just as much as when they came out.
