My civic’s have all beaten the Highway Estimate by 3-5mpg even in mixed driving. I had an 82, and 2 97's. My Toyota trucks have all gotten the minimum City mileage with a rare all highway day maybe adding 2 mpg. All hand calculated.

I’ve had Toyota truck since 1987, but there are some things that make the Ridgeline an appealing choice. It comes down to what you are going to do with it. After cracking the head in my latest 4Runner at 73k miles I’m trading in my Toyota loyalty card. I’m also pretty sick of 15mpg.

How about ? “Right tool for the right job. You don’t fish for Brook trout with a Sailfish lure and you don’t hunt rabbit with an elephant gun.”

Nailed it.

I don’t think it was Honda fanboys who bought the Ridgeline. Honda fanboys drive civic’s, S2000's, Integra’s, RSx’s.

Not if they are both carrying 1600lbs

The front is the best part and they are passing on it.

Does it have that super sensitive steering rack? My parents have a hemi 1500 and man is that thing twitchy. They are getting up there and when he switches the radio or takes a sip of coffee that truck likes to move a 1/4 lane.

For me most of the driving enjoyment I’ve had in trucks is dirt roads in rwd and off road in 4x4. I think the fun part of driving a truck is doing something at a speed that you know would just destroy a car.

Star for the Swinger!

Car hood emblem wish list:

Things nobody told me about commuting in the Bay on a motorcycle:

I think exploding acid fire when I picture that hanging out over your rear bumper. It's startling how many accidents are somebody getting rear ended.

I always thought they should strive for a USB type battery standardization then you could switch them out like propane tanks for road trips. You don’t need all that extra weight 90% of the time so save juice and have a faster better handling car most of the time.

Not even close to an IPhone memory upgrade tho’

And they are you know. Ugly as F$@/ compared to first and 2nd gens.

I'd recommend a 93.

That's my problem with CARB. If the vehicle still tests within the parameters it should be allowed. Bilking companies for testing every year for each individual part is a money scam.

I think I just saw that truck ten minutes ago.
