Got a build thread link? I think those Crown's have some great lines.

What kind of gas mileage does that set up get?

How about a lucky reader contest where the winner's get a day in a Jalopnik writer's car? Sort of a reverse press car for your loyal follower's.

There are a lot of supra guys with over a 1,000 horsepower doing those top speed events. Kind of looney, but I'd wager there are way more 2JZ's north of 1,000 hp then DB7's. Of course then your talking about a car you don't drive much of anywhere anymore. Either way I'm sure the parts are way cheaper on the Toyota.

I pity her husband. If that was my sister I don't think I could ever let her live that decision down. Math...it can save your ass. Somebody is probably still driving around worry free in that 97 corolla only having put in half a dozen oil changes. You should have bought the damn thing from her and haunted her with it

First one looks like a fancy espresso machine with some Sony Explode speakers.

Probably just me.

Am I the only one that looks at that chassis and thinks "That doesn't look even remotely safe."?

Man that front bumper is just wrong. I hope they tweak it to look better.

If your a motorcyclist with way more power on tap then talent we call you a squid.

How is stick and lightweight performance a nanny device? Civic also has more horsepower, better performance and less maintenance cost.

Stick over auto. Light over heavy. Airbags over auto-belts. Gas mileage over not so much.

No. That's ridiculous. I'm one of the guys and gals who goes out to those incidents and puts my ass on the line for people in accidents. I've almost been hit (inches by vehicles going 60+) twice and seen fellow EMS workers almost "buy it" several times.

You know wandering around drunk is illegal and results in fatalities too right?

Seriously? The guy is out some major cash and a car for a twenty minute drive that was safer then most cop code 3's. I'd say we have all wasted enough time and money on this bull$h1t. People are literally killing people in NYC with cars and buses (100% their fault) and not being prosecuted at all.

x2. For our EMS brothers and sisters.
