Interesting the number of ppl here saying you should have scored free babysitting rather than commending you for not exploiting the poor woman in death as she was in life. 

How would you feel if the systematic captivity, torture, and enslavement of your ancestors and people who look like you was reduced to “something you don’t like”?

I follow a few catholic abolitionists on twitter, and they’ve all commented positively on the doctors making these requests. I use Twitter for most of my anti death penalty stuff. 

The thing is, since no human system is without error, if we argue that we can’t have executions for fear of executing innocents, we simply cannot have them. 

Kind of weird how first coronavirus delayed executions for fear of contagion and lack of adequate time and resources to prepare for appeals, and now this.

The catholic faction might help, they’re pretty generally anti-death penalty.

I’m leaning toward ritual site. If I were a hunter who depended on the mammoth for meat, fur, etc, I would definitely see it as some sort of sacred gift.

It honestly was the better movie, to the point where I felt like it didn’t quite fit as a sequel to the first one, but more as it’s own movie.

The best way to get rid of drug dealers, IMHO, is more likely to a be a combination of a safe, well regulated legal drug trade and also getting rid of the customer base.

Lost most of it for a while due to... I don’t really know why. I would get my mom to smell things for me after a while, because I really couldn’t deny it happened. I got my sense of smell back a while ago and it’s been nice.
