His family had a reality show, The Family Crews, i think. I don't have cable but I did see a few episodes. His wife and kids are really great and I laughed so much. I wanted to run away and be middle-aged adopted by the Crews.

all very true, but i live in a slightly more liberal college town so I forget that the rest of this state has it's head up it's ass. :)

The only dry spot was just Denton Proper - I can go anywhere else in the county and buy alcohol. It sucked.

We banned fracking inside the city, too!!! small consolation... I hope the damn liquor stores open SOON. I need to stock up for the end times (Abbott inauguration/democratic drinking binge)

that guy from queer eye???

In my County (denton) around 30%... Pretty much the same state wide. :/

Hey now... White liberal. Thanks.

it's going to get worse.

I am feeling you. Good thing Denton approved in town alcohol sales by 74%. I can drink away the pain without driving across the county.

Texas is historically democratic... we've only been "red"(read nonvoting, apathetic idiots) for 2 decades. :(

this was a straight election - gerrymandering wouldn't effect the outcome. I am just surrounded by more idiots than democrats. :(

I am rage stroking RIGHT NOW. I hate TX so much in this moment. They could put an (R) on a garbage can and people would vote for it! :(

We're so fucked!

Not in Tx... that position has more power than the Gov.

My vote for Obama in 2012 was invalidated in Denton County in 2012 - because my change of address was postmarked one day late. SIGH...

So is Denton. We're working on it.

vote by mail - go to votetexas.com - hurry, deadline is the 24th.

Sadly, Lt. Gov has more power in this state than the Gov. That should scare the begeezus out of people.

When I first started reading Jez, there was a feature where they reviewed a YA novel from the past and it was glorious. Can we have that back please?

Pretty sure my son knows why people pull this shit.
