I get 30 a month, and I see my NFP for refills and drug testing (standard office protocol for patients taking controlled substances) every 4 weeks. I often don't need the refill every visit, though. The visits are also for monitoring other health issues as well.

I take a prescription painkiller called fioricet as needed for my migraines after 2 decades of other treatments that always failed. It's literally the only thing that works without destroying my cognitive function like topamax did or going for rescue meds every other week in the ER.
