The edit feature seems to work like the previous version, although the button is slightly more subtle and I don't know if the timing is the same or not.

I think this would be a great change. Scrolling through replies would make it much easier to see all of them but the weighting algorithm could still move the top responses so you don't have to spend time scrolling.

It's kind of like if you took every unapproved Deadspin commenter, funneled them all into one website, and made sure everyone celebrated stupid memes. It's basically a big forum and some of the subforums generate useful dialogue, but I'm not a huge fan.
