I think what makes it even more tragic is that Buddhism as far as I know has never been involved in religious conflicts. I was raised a Buddhist and I always respected it as a non-religious person because it was one of the few peaceful religions so it’s especially disappointing to see this happen.

I only speak as an outsider but this seems totally counterintuitive to bringing peace. Again as an outsider this seems disheartening because I always respected the non-violent and peaceful philosophy of Buddhism. Even worse, the proposed law is outright sexist.

What are the details that tipped you? I also had a suspicion it was a replica but I couldn't put my finger on it.

I saw this one the other day in San Francisco’s Castro neighborhood. Real thing? Regardless it looked fantastic.

Haha impressive. But perhaps not all that surprising since in Asian culture the amber tinted sunglasses are a mark of a badass. At least that’s how it was when I was growing up way back then. 😎

There was also what seemed like at the time impossible expectations from Carmack. I’ve never played it but most of the sites I respect gave lukewarm reviews so there’s that too.

That is some major style she got there.

By looking at the unconditional love she shows in the 2nd pic, there is no doubt she would have accepted you no matter what. :)

Proof that mom’s are truly the best.

He was a “this guy” pioneer!

lol he looks like he just got owned.

I love the care free attitude. Those were the days when we gave zero fucks. sigh.

Yeah that bicycle photo is truly beautiful!

Even with the faded and scanned photo, those 80’s/90’s colors still pop out. :P

Aw, your dad looks so proud of you! And totally badass in the amber tinted sunglasses. :P

lol AWKWARD...

That photo is a classic! What year was that if you don’t mind me asking?

These interviews are amazing. Iwata also had one with the developers of Splatoon and it’s a fascinating look into game design/development.

I set up IT equipment for presentations for a living and for the longest time, these situations were the most stressful things to happen in my job. It also depends on the presenter; some are very bad at trying to remain calm or give the appearance of one. Over the years, I’ve learned that the more you panic, the worse

Classic Avalon Hill game!
