Moms are the best. We may rebel against her but in the end we know She always had the best intentions, granted there are exceptions. I finally realized this when I turned 30.

This reminds me of the Ship of Theseus theory: if every part of the car is replaced gradually over the years, is it still the original? I wrote about it here: http://oppositelock.jalopnik.com/ship-of-theseu…
I don't know if Putin is a troll or what but I have to be honest that even though I consider myself a gaming fanatic, albeit limited to PC and Nintendo, I don't get most of the comics without context. So in a way, if Putin is honest he's asking for a lot of us but he's also ruining any serious responses because he's…
As a Games Workshop fanatic/loyalist this makes me very happy that those who are just as fanatical are working for and are influencing Blizzard.
The 333SP is one of my favorite if not the favorite Ferrari racecars ever and the Momo livery has a lot to do with why.
It looks like someone in the Lexus design team (The Hulk) took their design elements and just pounded it into submission. I see some i3 cues in it especially in the rear and overall dimensions. There is definitely a bit of trying too hard but I like the neo-Japanese styling parts. I just don't think those nice parts…
Sigh, I think you're right. I just don't see the 356 depreciating. It's like suddenly, everyone realized that 356s are not simply VW Beetles but a real sports car with one of the best designs. So be it then.
I was just talking to my friend about how I remember when the 288 GTO barely broke 250K long after it was produced. I said, this is waaay underpriced. And sure enough, it's a 1M+ car now.
The Porsche market is definitely out of control. This, the 70's Carrera RS, 356s (Gah!), 1960-1980 911s. The increases in the average price has been insane the last decade or so. It reminds me of the American muscle car craze previously.
Haha yeah, the Porsche bubble is strong and frustrating. I totally see why the prices are skyrocketing (because they are awesome) but at the same time I sense hype that's not totally justified.
I think the 993 is one of the best if not the best versions of the 911. I think the new 991 is the best ever but the 993 is a VERY close second, esp as you said, the last air-cooled 911.
That's a great point! I always assumed that he was influenced by the 930 and racing versions but now I can see how the age of the 993 GT2 would have made a strong impression to him when he was an impressionable young whipper-snapper.
And also the bad design factor: a horrible interior and sharing the headlights with the "lowly" Boxster.
Haha yeah, your combo said instantly to me, yep, this is a guy whose dreamcars were from the late 80's. :)
Going to be a Debbie Downer here and say that given that Seinfeld show went from 1989-1998, by 1996 he would have been easily had the means to buy one new. But who knows, maybe it was "the one that got away."
Nintendo: Doesn't matter because both patterns are already sold out.

Needs one of these tracks: :)
This is why I love being a complete Gawker media fan instead of just one or a couple of its sites: you get to be in on the in-jokes.
LOL WOW I would lose my mind if they produced the Estate so I can't imagine how I would further lose my mind of a Polestar version of it. @.@
