I should add that many of us could technically afford it if we sacrificed a lot of other relatively smaller luxuries but realistically, there are fewer people who would give those up; like eating at a nice restaurant or ordering online of a scale model of your favorite car.

This is the sad truth. I went to a few Volvo dealers and checked out the C30 (RIP) and said to myself that if I had the money to buy a car (I live in San Francisco so it truly is a luxury), the C30 R would be the one. But I would never be able to buy one because it is in a way a "waste" of my current income.

This is such a great follow up to the retro/homage design of his P4/5 because it removes the nostalgic elements and thoroughly modernizes it. It reminds me in its philosophy of Nissan GT-R's uncompromising "high-tech" form-follows-function design.

I'm not a big fan of Atkinson but I totally love and respect his enthusiasm for cars. He's the UK version of Leno (to be fair, Leno was amazing before he took over Carson). :P The trivia about his having the reverse colors on his gauges makes me appreciate him even more!

Oh damn it. wahwah

EDIT: I thought twin turbo. I was wrong. So so wrong...

I think the BMW i3's execution of the wood treatment is far more successful but they probably had a bigger budget for it given that the i3 is probably way more expensive than the Honda if it goes in to production. Still, I'm glad to see this trend develop.

Er, whats going on in the back with Doraemon and the wolf dolls...

Are you the one that posts these gifs every time there is a Bayonetta article? If so, thank you thank you thank you. Those glasses and the short hair make her such a hot badass.

I don't know, that seems sooo contrary to the history of the Le Mans winners but if they win it, you can't dispute it! Maybe it will be like a one-off how Mazda won with a rotary.

To be honest, I think it looks awkward but I do like the unconventional design. If they win, I will definitely love it would prove that function > form.

The red for me is too reminiscent of the Toyota GT-ONE but I am not too bothered by it. :)

The only thing I wish they did is to use the classic Nissan Motorsport livery of red, white, and blue. I really wonder why they didn't since mostly red is associated with Toyota.

Wow. As ugly as it is for me, if it wins Le Mans, it will become a legendary design and no one will be able to dispute that. I love that Nissan has a great motorsport history and I will be rooting for them along with Porsche and Toytota equally. IF they win it overall, it will be as impressive as the other only

I hate to say it but for me it's not the same. Mostly because I have been a fan of Le Mans since as long as I remember and even more so because this year every manufacturer entering is gunning for it. But I have definitely considered it as a primer for Le Mans. Thanks for the information! It really doesn't sound bad

I love the update to the New Mini because I can finally tell the difference. My favorite change is the tail lights. I love how BMW simplified it. My mom just got a lease for one (from her previous Mini) so I'll get a chance to compare the models but that's a bit disheartening about its performance.

I would love to see a 991 edition with this color combo (gray with brown interior).

My brother who has lived in Portland for the last 8 years says that it's very hard to find a used Subaru because of its off-road capability on a budget. This totally makes sense.

I would love to see him in Le Mans with Alonso (after he wins a few more in F1) and Kubica.

I planned on going to Le Mans this year but the "glamping" package (I'm too old for camping in a tent at a race track) costed too much ($8000) that I had to nix what probably will be one of the most epic races (Audi, Porsche (year 2), Toyota (Do or die), Nissan). :(
