How do we think this would work with challah? I always grew up with french toast made with challah, specifically challah with raisins.

My OG Pixel XL was on its last legs, but I was holding out for the 4XL. When it dropped and all the poor reviews on the battery came out, I pulled the trigger on the BF sales for the 3aXL. Have absolutely no complaints. I viewed it as a short term phone until the 5 came out, but I think I’ll hold out until I see

I have tickets for Sunday afternoon. The only account I follow on Twitter that might spoil it is io9 (unless some of the sports accounts I follow are going to be assholes about it), so hopefully the headlines will stay away from anything spoilery until Monday. I dont actually check this website directly when I’m not

I haven’t been watching the CW shows but have been watching Crisis the past few days. Completely forgot it was going to be broken up before/after winter break and got that unfortunate reminder at the end of last night’s Flash. Kind of wishing I had waited.

Eh, sweet works for me on something like a burger. For bbq in general I prefer spicy/vinegary sauces.

So its like the BK rodeo burgers, but with bacon (which is how my friend always ordered rodeo burgers anyway)?

Never realized the hook from Trick’s “I Aint a Thug” was a sample. Learned something new.

I am the exact opposite of her when it comes to breakfast. I hate the taste of eggs. They’re fine in batter (as with french toast or cookies, cake, etc.) or as another ingredient where I don’t taste them specifically. But everywhere I travel outside of the US eggs are the main portion of breakfast and I am stuck

This must be why I hate Starbucks hot chocolate from the store - they make it with water behind the counter.

So why don’t you do as Salty commented and just order more slowly? Don’t put it all in at once and expect the server/kitchen to time your eating habits to make sure they don’t overlap? I frequent a lot of the same places and know what I am going to get before I sit down. I still order my appetizer and then when it

I never finished Smallville and I am realizing I stopped sometime between her introduction as Tess Mercer and the reveal that she was actually Lena Luthor. Had to go look that up since I assumed you were wrong when I saw your post. Remember kids, research is fun and can keep you from looking stupid.

Call me a “stone-hearted ice witch” or say I’m not fun at parties but I hate using exclamation points. I see no purpose in them. Anyone who knows me would know it is completely disingenuous for me to put an exclamation point in my writing because I have never spoken to them with a level of excitement that would

My Thanksgiving plate pretty consistently looks like: deep fried turkey, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes with Popeye’s gravy, slices of Cuban bread. Dessert, if I have any, will be apple pie.

Then what are the chances the show is only one season long to cover that journey, and once he is Cap, he is no longer on TV? I could believe Marvel/Disney wont put Cap on a streaming show long term. It makes sense to take a season of “TV” for him to work into the role of Cap, but once he is there, he is movies only,

This makes sense. I, unfortunately, have not had the ability to take such a long vacation. And while I dont know that I could do a month in place for a vacation, that seems an appropriate use for the function.

The overlapping shifts make sense to avoid the issue of someone having to stay longer to wait on their tables to finish

If you told me every time the person leaving would just introduce the new server, you’re right they do not need to ask me to close out, I will offer.

But that is not what is happening here. His server is being replaced. What if his server’s section is never “empty”. It’s the middle of the day, in theory there could always be someone there.

Mashed potatoes are a vehicle for Popeye’s gravy. Every holiday where mashed potatoes are served (of which there are several in my family) we go to Popeye’s and buy a large mashed potatoes with gravy and tell them to hold the potatoes and just fill the container with gravy.
