So apparently Shell lets you link a card and get the benefits from Upside automatically. Unfortunately, that is not the cheapest gas around me (nor is it convenient to access) and the gas station I do go to (Marathon) still requires I take a picture of the receipt and upload, which just isn’t going to happen when 9

Because you can see that first sentence is meant to be read as though we hear about this happening to young people all the time (and it links to a story about wet roads and their danger in general), not a specific man or woman.

If you only want them to take 5 or 8 days a year, then only give them that amount. It is absolutely your right to set the amount of sick/vacation days employees get, but see how many employees want to come work for you. If they are allowed 14 days off a year and don’t take all of them, then are you paying them

Who will be Lando’s Nicholas Latifi?

Agreed about the amber flashing lights. If it is not an intersection, how am I supposed to know the person standing on the side of the road isn’t waiting for a bus (we dont have dedicated benches at every stop here) or just stopped for any other reason. I need some sort of notice telling me to stop ahead of time other

How much does your dad drive a year? 880k miles in 34 years (assuming he started in 1990) seems like a lot.

I’ll just say I automatically associate GoldenEye with the game, and since that game still gives me nightmares from getting my ass handed to me every time I played, I will not be agreeing with any GoldenEye takes.

He also said “most”, not all.

I do think there is an argument for longer range so people with limited charging options can go longer without having to find a charging station. There are plenty of people who do not live in SFH that want an EV, and if they can go all week commuting to work on one charge and then charge on the weekend, that would be

I would say that is the perfect color for Miami, but it probably wouldn’t stand out as much down here as it does in Ohio.

I hope he loses (and I suspect he will) but I thought the suit was against the advertising collective for colluding not to use his services. Still seems like bullshit, but I can at least kid of understand arguing this group colluded to tell its members they cant us Twitter to advertise as opposed each individual

I’m sure there will be a civil suit to go after more money, not that I expect there to be much more money to get.

How many 50yo garages fit a modern full size pickup? I have neither (50yo garage or truck) so I dont know, but I do hear people complain about the size of trucks nowadays. Did they need a full size truck? Fair point. Was there a better garage available to them? I’m guessing less likely, but worth asking.

I know it’s a joke, but for the sake of giving at least one real response, some of us were born here and our family and friends are here, and it would be difficult to start over somewhere else. As I have said elsewhere, I am jealous of people who are able to move away from their families and just start a life

You’re right it does suck they have to use their own equipment, but not everyone is in a position to find another job to provide those benefits.

I am president of 6 unit townhouse complex and the amount of times I have told a resident “no” for something I can count on one hand. I literally think the only thing we dont allow is changing the colors of the units, but even that has been discussed as a potential uniform change to all units. Some have impact

Yeah, I assume they like being able to see the sand from the road which you cant really do anywhere in Miami. Ocean Drive is well-known so you think it would be good enough but either they prefer the beachy feel of Ft. Lauderdale Beach, or it costs too much to shut down Ocean Drive for filming.

I absolutely believe his cop friends closed the streets, they just didn’t do it officially. They pulled up to the relevant intersections, parked and turned away traffic for 15 mins under color of authority, even if they had none, and then left when their friend was done and none of the people turned away had any

Seems like a good way to find deals on cars. I absolutely expect my friend to do this again in a few years when he no longer lives in New Orleans and can have a nicer car without worrying about on-street parking and potholes.
