It's not hard to never drive drunk. That's a really low bar for a high horse, and shame on you for defending them.

Driving drunk isn't a "mistake". It's a potentially lethal crime, and for good reason. Don't minimize it.

LOL So true! That "healthy" dessert thing is so ridiculous. It's all over TV too. People are convinced that sugary desserts qualify as healthy as long as you make them yourself.

I'm betting manslaughter too if the guy gets convicted. He deserves to rot in prison for this, but the jury is going to be reminded over and over again that he didn't kill some innocent little teenager, but instead a dangerous drunk driver.

When you know you're drunk and you get behind the wheel, you KNOW you're likely to kill innocent people. It's no different than firing a gun in the vague direction of a group of people.
