For me it also immediately brings to mind Cincinnati chili.

For me it’s the peanut butter cookie recipe from the Joy of Cooking. The recipe starts with, “For those who dote on peanut-butter cookies,....” That’s me! There are lots of copies of it on the Web, but here’s one I came across. I can whip these up in a few minutes, and I have my own small-batch take on it I make…
This is near St. Louis, so not as rusty a town as if it were up in the northern part of the state.
Nothing really. But they’re young and new to the neighborhood and $250 is a lot to them now.
I starred you again. Hey, isn’t it great to remember *anything* from before 2020? And as a programmer myself, I am there for bad programming puns!
You can eat the flowers, too. I’ve had them made into patties with egg and breadcrumbs, kind of like how you would make salmon patties.
What utensils do you have in your kitchen that you are particular about how they are used?
We gave our kids chewable vitamins when they were little, but with our younger daughter (now grown) it was always a struggle. When we eventually moved, we found a pile of vitamins behind the couch.
Our Fusion came with a code, but it was also easy to change. Before we had computers with in-dash displays maybe they weren’t customizable? I dunno, the Fusion is the first car I’ve had with the feature. I have used it once or twice.
I would have voted for apple cider.
It does. It’s kind of funny that it barely actually contains any alcohol, just 0.02%.
For several years I’ve been using something called Alkalol. It comes in a large bottle, but I use it to refill a small nasal saline solution spray bottle. I have no idea if it kills or cures anything, but it sure does help my nose feel better when I have an allergy attack.
lol I guess there was no lightning strike. :(
It was storming during my surgery, so the last thing I asked the anesthesiologist was, if the building got hit by lightning while I was under, would I get superpowers?
Ha! The first thing that popped into my head when I saw this article was remembering a guy I played ball with as a kid saying, “Can o’ corn!”
I have had a couple of positive experiences of that kind with Amazon, though. Once I ordered a wireless access point to expand a network I manage, and I received a different, but much better and more expensive, model from the same manufacturer. Amazon customer service told me, “It was our mistake; just keep it.”…
Salt, pepper, olive oil, and freshly grated nutmeg is amazing on butternut squash. I cube it and toss with those things before roasting. I think it’s currently my favorite fall food.
I don’t disagree with you, but I do want to note that here in rural Illinois, farmers have traditionally leaned Democrat. I’ve seen Biden/Harris signs next to several of the bigger farms’ fields.
I’m reminded of reading once that we should “eat food, not too much, mostly plants.”
A lot of it is very Lumina.
