There’s a greasy-spoon-type place in our little rural town that’s good for an eggs/bacon/biscuits and gravy breakfast. They’re cheap, and the food is not bad. Coffee’s decent for regular brewed coffee, too.

For me living with one certainly gave me libertarian tendencies for some things. I think you should be able to paint your fence any damn color you choose, not just one of the three “approved” colors. (Not what happened to me, but something kind of similar.) It was a contributing factor to why we moved, and left the

We drove a Sonata 2.0T, too, when we were shopping around. Very similar to the Fusion on paper, but we ended up liking the driving feel and interior layout of the Fusion a little more. No regrets a year and a half later! I’m a turbo guy, and the 2.0L Ecoboost seems like a great engine. We still like this Fusion a lot.

I nearly always go inside anywhere for to-go orders. My kids think I’m crazy, but it’s almost always faster.

Are they really that different though? We have a 2016 Fusion, and my parents have a 2014 Taurus, and I could almost swear there’s more room inside my Fusion.

It seems like it could just be a Kate McKinnon SNL skit?

Ha! We did something similar with our first, but it was the mall (this was 1991).

Good idea! I haven’t checked Kroger for Ting here in Cornfield, IL, but they are the best place to get a lot of stuff I can’t find locally otherwise.

For me, Ting grapefruit soda from the Caribbean, sumac spice from Georgia (the country), dates and saffron from Middle East, and really good aged balsamic vinegar from Italy. Some of these I got myself, and a couple of them my daughter got for me while she was traveling.

OTOH, I bought mine new, and I’m still daily driving it at 221K miles. This one is practically worth the price for the bumper covers and hood. If you ever hit a deer or something, you find that those parts can be pricey!

My daughter and SIL used to live near Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta, and I was surprised at the number of weddings they have there. I mean, it’s pretty I guess, but it still seems like a weird place for a wedding.

Ooo, does anybody else remember in the ‘80's when Wendy’s had apple dumplings? Those thing were fantastic!

Man, something like this would be perfect for my friend’s ‘68 Spitfire.

If I can find dent corn? This is Illinois; I’m basically surrounded by it at all times!

We clearly like similar things! :) I listen to the audio from many of these while I’m out walking. Since I’ve seen them so many times, it’s easy to fill in the action in my mind’s eye as I’m listening. I’m currently working my way through Red Dwarf. Would anyone like some toast?

Right up there as contenders are “The End of the Line” and “The Girl With Two Breasts”. The former has some of the cleverest writing, and the latter is one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.

We got the ability to do this with deer in my state a couple of years ago, and it’s definitely a good thing. There were 245 deer killed by vehicles just in my county alone last year. I’ve hit two myself. :-/

We got a copy as a wedding gift 34 years ago, and it’s still one of the best cooking references I own. The peanut butter cookie recipe makes the best peanut butter cookies in the world. I don’t need to look at the recipe anymore to mix up a batch in about 5 minutes.
