Have to underscore this, The Witness was my first experience like Outer Wilds now finally gave me again. The amazement of everything unraveling, anyone I talk to who hasn’t played it makes me jealous for they can still have that experience

But here’s the thing. If a person finds a word offensive, apologize and stop using it. For 99.99% of the population, savage is a word with no baggage. We need to stop saying “you can’t say X because I can imagine a specific scenario in which a person might find X offensive under certain circumstances.”
We don’t need to

The probability of something going wrong with a digital boarding pass is about the same as the probability of dropping your boarding pass. Especially if your airline allows you to store the boarding pass in the Wallet (or whatever the Android equivalent is).

The headline is a little hyperbolic. Excruciating implies that it was hard to watch, which it wasn’t. You’re really expecting something special when you watch that clip (especially since it’s “THE MOST EVER!!!!”), and it’s just a study in strategy and technique at low health.

I never thought any exec could out-Herb Spanfeller’s hair, but here we are.

You’re really going to differentiate between all the darn iterations of the same systems? Seems redundant and disingenuous.

Totally agree. This game has ruined me on other games. It’s a feeling/experience not unlike The Witness in that I long to experience it all over again, because I feel like I played it in my own special way, and the experience of playing it was unique to me, even if I know that’s not entirely true.

Do I love PC games? Yes. Do I play most of my games on my PS4 instead? Totally. This is one of several reasons.

Sounds to me like Arch Warhammer is a dick.

Nah, it’s better, because it’s a mechanic that doesn’t take effort, which was part of the point of the article. It’s built in and everyone can do it. And as Heather pointed out, even FPS games have them, from Titanfall to Overwatch.

Rocket jumps are a neat trick, but they take a certain level of skill, and you’re kind

However, it is kind of rubbing their faces in it when you’re eating right in front of them and they’re very hungry.

No, she can’t do that. If she just wear clothes it will be whitewashing .

Alright, I’m going to do my best to wade into a particularly tricky subject here without offending anyone. Wish me luck...

It is such a big no issue that I can't stop rolling my eyes at it. It have a diffrent launcher. It isn't exclusive in the the way God of War or Forza is exclusive, where you have to spend money on a console to play them, it is exclusive in the way Overwatch is "exclusive" because you can't play it on steam.

literally any level from Stuntman on the PS2. That game was so demanding to get a perfect score in a movie scene. All in one take, and if you screw up the tiniest bit when the director is screaming out directions for you to follow you had to pretty much start over. (It didn’t help that load times were pretty long

I wasn’t catching the sarcasm in your first paragraph, and started to think you were one of *those* commenters... The fact that those sentences are verbatim what people like my parents say is pretty disturbing.

Pole hits pole, more at 11.

The Dreamcast was really the last time I was truly impressed with a console system. Everything since then has simply been a refinement of what Sega created so long ago. You could even plug the thing into a VGA monitor for higher resolution graphics. It was remarkable on every level and the games Sega made for it are
