People can think he’s a douchebag all they want. Hell, I think he’s a bit of a tool. Doesn’t change that there’s a thousand people who couldn’t afford cataract surgery who were able to get it, and a shitton of villages in Africa that now have easy access to clean water who didn’t before, and a host of other shit. On a

Friday evening of a holiday weekend... That alone would cause a massive slowdown in response from (office) workers in the US, but beyond that, you’d probably be surprised how long it would take to correct or even stop, and “IT” would only be a teeny tiny piece of this. Most of it would be techs, developers, and QA at

I just did the same and I can say I’m the polar opposite. It’s well worth the time just for the atmosphere alone if, like me, you haven’t played it in 13 years.

I’m admittedly pretty biased to Remedy but after I played Control last year I did a bit of a marathon and replayed the first Alan Wake and then played Quantum Break and I gotta say: Alan Wake holds up.

So this basically a hardcore version of Death Stranding?

The older I get the angrier at get at superhero movies and such like this where they are depicted destroying people’s vehicles. Like that’s some people’s entire livelyhoods and ability to get to work etc, and superdouche decides to just pick it up and chuck it at some supervillain that isn’t even phased by it and now

Really, what it comes down to is open world games are way too full of impossible to fail busy work. It’s mostly killed the entire genre for me.

I’ve never thought about it before, but how would one go about stealing a manhole cover? This is unrelated to the story, of course.

How many fewer people would have clicked this of the title would have been upfront and said “Dubai streaming service censors lesbian kiss scene”?. Well done on the click bait!

This article promoting these great deals literally uses affiliate links (at least for the Amazon links, hover over and you’ll see “campaign=kinjakotakulink”) to promote the sales which means they get a cut of the profit. It’s disgusting and shameful that they aren’t transparent in this write up. Be better, Koatku, be

dude, you just spoiled his identity

I once gave a retro streamer $20 to help pay his cat’s vet bills. Pretty much the same thing.

That’s easy. Here in the US, corporations got their foot in the door when it comes to mass influence mainly thanks to a very pro-corporate President Reagan, as well as Nixon staff/advisers, and lastly the passing of Citzens United, which laid the groundwork for an oligarchy/plutocratic government, as well as teaching

Well, yeah. Because corporations are inherently predatory and will turn on people the second they get the chance.

I have the first generation Apple TV 4K...and honestly see no reason to upgrade. It’s not slow. WiFi6 might be a reason... but I see no issues with lag on older WiFi.  I’d think if you’re still on an old Apple TV, that’s worth an upgrade.  There was quite the difference between that and the 4K.

While I agree that ultimately, as a customer, you should follow and listen to many people who have about the same tastes as you for potential purchases (albeit it’s a bit of confirmation bias. Moving on).

That should be more or less the case theoretically, but if there’s something I’ve learned is that scammers will always find a way to gamefy/exploit a popular system, so they’ll never completely go away. It’s an eternal game of cat and mouse. If something has no issues is probably a “security through obscurity” kind of

The review system (positive/negative) and the curation system (recommended/not recommended) are different things. Since reviews are always displayed to the user, you can only review a game that you own (and you can also filter between games acquired on Steam or other means like review copies and external stores), but

If your shit is in a public place and in my way, I’m going to move it. If you tell me you haven’t moved other people’s stuff out of your way in a public place at least once, I’m going to call you a fucking liar.

How about that?

You know what feature I would kill for right now? I would love for the PS Store to allow me to completely filter out shovelware and terrible games by either name or development company that always clog up the first couple pages of new releases in the store.
