Slow night in the office? ;)
Slow night in the office? ;)
That’s way cool! Haven’t seen that picture, but it pretty much lays the story to rest.
That’s ... Quite a mouthful of an answer :) But I appreciate it! Anyhoo, hope you visit Denmark, meet some relaxed danes, get a few beers and enjoy yourself. That’s what I usually do, every weekend :)
THAT sentence was a bit constructed, wasn’t it?
“I know Pokémon, I have the best Pokémon!”
Almost ok. I need my fix on PS4. Both for Lumines and Chime. Music by Chvrches and Kavinsky sounds too good, sigh.
I heard it as “African American Outrage” and thought, “yeah, that fits the bill”.
Just beautiful! SO true. Even in liberal Denmark, where I’m from, PC and people getting offended to a larger degree is changing what you can say and do. Soon there’s only the homose... SWEDES to make fun of!! The Swedes!!
That is GREAT news. The charm of the universe and Bud was something special, and even though the controls was difficult (part of the design, I guess), I really loved this game. I never dared hope for a sequel, as the world needs more of these quirky titles.
Yes, it was difficult, but despite (because?) of this, I absolutely loved the game and completed it 100%. My son, aged 10, did the same, so in my mind there’s no denying its magic. But it wouldn’t hurt, if they worked a bit on the controls for the sequel :)
I’m 45, so I was probably older than the target group when the game came out, but: I played the hell out of this! Sure, it was goofy, but all the targets gave it a purpose - I couldn’t care less for the skateboarding, I just loved the exploration and collectathon mechancs. The same went for the “real” skate games with…
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night should be mentioned. The PAL version goes for over 150 usd, and the game’s a classic as well. Same goes for Tomba/Tombi games. Oh, and the quite rare japanese Tobal 2, which is one of my most prized PS1 games.
Until Uncharted 4 (my GOTY for 2016 so far) my best gaming experiences this year has been in the puzzle department. The Witness and The Talos Principle is brilliant, and I’ve spent close to 100 hours with those two games alone. I’ve also completed games like Shadow Complex Remastered, Mad Max, Just Cause 3, Hitman GO,…
I feel sorry for the guys at Hello Games, but I still cannot help getting a little annoyed at the smoothing-out message “a few weeks”. It’s SIX weeks, and that’s more or less all of summer. At least admit it.
“In Poland and in most of the rest of Europe”, this Dane chips in. Nudity just doesn’t seem to press the same buttons for us. We don’t like people carrying guns, though, or firing off rounds on account of some silly “standing your ground” excuse ;)
I agree. Relax a bit, jalopnik.
About time Halo: Reach gets some retro love! In my opinion by far the best game in the series, and it might also have something to do with the fact that it was Bungie’s last Halo game, as you mention too.
Ah, Jumping Flash. The two games of the series is prized possessions in my collection. It was also the first 3D game (together with Dark Forces) that exposed me to heights, that made me terrified to take a virtual fall.
“Oh, yeah. Oooh, ahhh, that’s how it always starts. Then later there’s running and um, screaming.”
Not quite, but that’s the point. You are SUPPOSED to replay the game at a harder level, grinding more powerful weapons and upgrading them and your character. In that respect it actually owes a lot of debt to games like Destiny and Borderlands.
