Me and my friends are working on a project for Ouya that will harken back to Smash TV and Gauntlet. It'll be four players and have some neat cooperative mechanics. We tried to get a solid prototype done for the KillScreen competition, but we couldn't quite muster it and started 3 days late in the 10 day competition (I

I see he's sporting the Seperpentor look now

I found a bug in Tabula Rasa's closed beta where a shotgun I had could melee anything in the game and kill it with one hit. It was so much fun with that bug; not much fun without it. I never reported it.

Now playing

it's so they can effectively say, "you're doing good... you're doing good" to the guys who weren't the best

Yea, go to fast in a pair of Vibrams... BOOM! Plantar fasciitis in both feet. Took me a calendar year to recover and ween myself into them. I still can't do long distances but I'm sure if I was a more regular runner I could condition my arches to stay up.

Maybe it should have read:

Colanders, good for straining the liquid from things, not so much for direct heat

I know others are pointing this out, but for more concrete information about the technique it is called Pointillism, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pointillism

So is this a patch? Most companies would consider this a patch.

You can build a UDK game for iOS on a Windows machine. In fact you can't get UDK for Mac OS, you would have to boot into a VM or Bootcamp partition to run Windows. No (for better or worse) Xcode, nothing other than an Apple developer license.

Ha! I do kinda see it in the eyes, lol.

I should also note that though I do see the "... as well as the Kickstarter campaign" he's still likely talking about costs to produce everything to run the campaign and pay people for the work up to that point. I could be mistaken, but I would like to think he's smarter than admitting to committing money laundering.

He didn't say he backed his project's campaign on Kickstarter. He said he put money into the project. That doesn't designate the Kickstarter campaign, only the project as a whole, which he's been working on for 14 years. I can relate as I have put a ton of my own money into my game and I'm working just to keep ahead

Because it is the equivalent of giving yourself an illegal cash advance through a credit lender, which is the same as money laundering.

as long as they don't call it "New Metal Gear" :)

This is a really good advergame. I don't even listen to Skrillex. Probably one of the most sincere endeavors I've played. There's lots of great game references in there. Liked the Haggar sprite in the Inn the most.

One of the best books that I've read in the last year or so for helping with this sort of thing is called Positive Intelligence by Shirzad Chamine. It has helped me profoundly to quiet my mind by doing "reps" of exercises that focus on tuning in intensely on on one of the five senses. The book's starts with

Hey Kate, your tag for the article is mispelled.

My friend had it the other night. We were in the arena thing off of Eridium Blight area when we got it (maybe from the wanna be a human robot quest close by). He said it was worthless and wasn't working, which makes a lot of sense, given the name. I had one too, but didn't bother to use it after his testimony.

I use this weapon too. My stats are suckier (still with the +100%) as I got it around level 16, but hopefully I'll get a better version of it in the 2nd play through. Still the +100% is the only thing I really care about. I'm hitting about 20-100k with this, deception, and my relic and class mods adding in damage.
