I'm glad there are fans out there fighting for the spirit of Mega Man to carry on and want to see Capcom revisit it in a whole-hearted effort.

I guess there's something to be said for calling your game "craft". When you take part of another game's namesake, you're opening yourself up to those comparisons and criticisms, deservedly so I would say.

I think Apple holds a belief that you don't need an external controller to experience games fully on their devices. For them to admit that in way of an add-on product, it would be the equivalent of them saying, "we designed the device wrong, here's an add-on to use to make up for our mistake".

Check out this one. I think it was only recently announced.

Nintendo rarely takes a loss on hardware. Most companies will subsidize the cost of the console and other hardware to make it up on software revenues and royalties.

Hardest part of the power nap is ending it. I usually fail miserably at this.

It will be on lots of platforms as well. I can't find my flyer from PAX, but I think expect PC, Mac, Android, iOS. I know they're targeting mobile in addition to desktop.

It's definitely a different market with a different comfort level to price-point ratio. We all know that. That truth aside, the thing that developers can and should take advantage of is that the lower cost can (it's important to distinguish between can and will) translate into larger volumes of sales. The reason being

Here you go. Here's Megashaun from Electric Playground playing some Mega Man on it, :)

Antico is ridiculous. Every time I eat there, I think to myself, "I wish there was pizza better in the world than this, because I couldn't imagine how good it would have to be to top this."

I used to work right across hall from Cinnabon, at Software ETC. (now Gamestop). Used to eat those cinnabon's several times a week. Launched the Dreamcast there (w/ no AC on in the mall at midnight). Launched the PS2 there (w/ really limited quantities). Got my radio stolen when I went to pick up my last paycheck (was

That stuff was so good. Got pulled because it had a lot of cholesterol in it, lol. My parents saw the information on the box and were like, "we can't get this for you any more."

I second this. Read this article earlier in the day. They seemed to be a bit short-sighted on the user experience surrounding their money making options, but they make great games and they are trying to run their business with a spine.

I'm sure Sony will be getting a share of the profits from each microtransaction in Dust 514.

Neat to hear. My dad is a logistics engineer that works with a consulting firm, so he was tasked with helping them reconfigure their operations as they opened the building (I think he said the other facility was across the highway from the original facilities).

My dad did some contract work to help them expand. It was coincidentally right before the Guitar Hero, Rock Band stuff died out, which was a major reason for them needing his help in planning expansion efforts to another local facility. I can't imagine they're using all of it now (maybe they never finished building

I should have stated that I had not used Unity until I graduated from school. During my studies, I used Unreal Engine 2 & 3 exclusively. Their material editor is fantastic, so if you want to specialize in the area of technical artistry that pertains to shaders and fx, the Unreal engine really is quite magical and

I would say if you're both learning game development and trying to make money you should probably shelve the making money for the time being. The fact is, you probably don't have enough competency yet. You can always try and you probably have some percentage chance of success. But I would say the fact that you aren't
