You likely know this, but there’s tritium in most of the asteroids. It wouldn’t matter though, they stay right on you, so you did the right thing to get to the station.

I've had the sentinel dogs actually teleportin my totally enclosed hole and start attacking me. Love finds a way.

Glad you’re back Mike and it sounds like you’ve got a great attitude about things! If you ever need help making toy runs or help getting anything you and your family needs brought your way, I’m in Atlanta and happy to help, so hit me up!

What about Jurassic Park for the Sega CD?

Another gem from an apparently popular writer. Guess he just couldn’t hold the asshole in today and had to stomp on the dead.

TIL (after Googling it) what a monomate is :) . Reading the article definitely makes me want to check this game out as I’ve never played it. The concept of the data-forward presentation of the items is intriguing. In the real world, I don’t always eat and say, “I’m going to feel 60% more sated if I eat this much of

French Silk Pie - it isn’t on the menu anymore, but someone there will know how to make it. It’s magical and tastes just like a piece of French silk pie.

As a kid from the US I was super disappointed in the final design of the US SNES. We had to go through months of seeing the designs of the JPN version of the console and I was so excited about the colored buttons and form factor. The games sure made up for the lack of color, but I still have more of a fondness for the

I guess I lucked out in that I like to play Junkrat and I seem to fairly easily bait Doomfist into my trap. Once he sticks, I volley a few grenades and then a concussion mine and he’s dead. The only time I think I’ve had trouble is when the other player is launching his strikes off the ground but I stay grounded to

Isn’t it obvious? He’s going to be building our great, terrific border wall for us. :P ... and now a sad face :(

Conversely it will likely also be harder for snipers to cover all angles without shifting their character around on the ground, making them more easy to spot.

Quite surprised that none of the Star Wars space sims made it on here. Star Wars: TIE Fighter was pretty incredible for its time and had a great story as well. I played X-Wing and X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter, but something about being invited to a special elite wing of the Empire pilots was so special as a kid.

I totally agree with you. It’s certainly inspiring, and I’m willing to bet that this guy did this to elevate his personal brand for job prospects. That all said, the reality of using it isn’t quite as sexy as shown here. There is a good amount of amount of genius in the decision that MS made to have capture of the

Yea, other than that glaringly obvious limitation the device really is quite impressive. When your code and assets are optimized it can run a lot of geometry at a good frame rate and the spatial mapping tech is really impressive. Odds are that when the person who makes the video returns to the park, he can look around

I’d posted a bit about this in another thread, but since a lot of people have the impression this is what using HoloLens device yourself would actually look like, I’ll post it in its own comment.

Sadly, what this guy sees is far, far more limited than the video captured by the HoloLens. Imagine what he sees being limited to the area of an index card in your 3/4 outstretched arm. Anything outside of this card is not rendered because it’s not part of the devices FOV.
