so the question I saw posed yesterday was... do you lose sound? I'd guess you would which is a major shortcoming. Sure, you don't have a bluetooth device that needs charging, but now you've lost sound for your game.

Totally agree. The market share for these games is so small compared to franchise installments. Sad that is that way, but it is.

FF7 was when I got my Playstation. Until then, I only rented it ( a lot ). The marketing push in the US was huge and I think it started Sony's then-trend of paying for advertising for third party games to make sure it was definitely marketed as a Sony exclusive game.

Had no idea of the history of the title. I always like looking back and seeing how developers have respected where a franchise has come from.
