True; I should've said they're all challenges, not all characters. Still, not randomized.

As much as I dislike reading anything on IGN, I went there, because I wanted to prove that this is silly and there is no fucking way a professional reviewer would set a game to hard and then bitch that it is hard.

They do not make it easy to play Naxxramas for free; that's entirely fair. But I don't get the complaint that they don't make it easy to play the game itself for free. Naxxramas cards are nice but not absolutely necessary, and with just the core cards, it isn't difficult to get beyond rank 15 (ie, the rank that most

10+ offline smash battles definitely does the trick. I'm not sure if online battles count, though; I didn't go online until I had the full roster.

You've collected at least 30 different equipment items. That's Jiggly's secondary unlock condition. Dark Pit's is complete classic mode with 3 different characters.

There is no randomization to it. Every character has two ways to unlock them; one is based on versus match count (which is 100% correct above), and the other varies from character to character, but 9 out of 12 are tied to classic mode. The stages are all tied to character unlocks, and G&W is the only one on challenge

You need to complete the first 35 challenges. The challenge for unlocking Game & Watch, which comes with Flat Zone 2, is on the second challenge page, so you won't get it until challenge page 1 is filled up.

Come on, man. You're right, but have the courtesy to explain why you're right.

It isn't randomized. There are two unlock conditions for every character. The vs. battle counts above are accurate (it's how I got every one), but if you, say, play classic mode a lot, then you'll get Duck Hunt Dog early, because his secondary unlock is based on completing Classic mode a certain number of times.

If you don't want to be insulted, don't be a dick. Pretty simple.

Out of curiosity, where is this consensus coming from? I can't speak to regular 3ds or 2ds, but smash attacks are a joke on my XL. Tilts are harder to pull off.

Flicking isn't necessary. Just hit direction all the way, plus simultaneous attack; flicking or holding makes no difference. It feels great on my 3ds XL. Tilt attacks, though... those do not feel comfortable.

You may want to reread until you get to the "may eventually be patched in" part. It won't take long. It's in the first sentence.

That escalated quickly.

Outside of the already mentioned nostalgia factor... huge publicity. This game was off the radar for most until the genesis release. But then every site puts up the "GAME COMES OUT ON GENESIS THIS YEAR" attention-grabbing story, a few weeks later the kickstarter for modern systems comes out, and it gets a huge flood

You're right. I saw the joke, went "lol xbone fanboy fuckwit", and then read the rest of the thread and saw that you seemed much more reasonable, but had no idea why the joke fell so flat. So I tried to point it out. I regret that. Exovedate made the point way better than I did.

YES. MAGICANT. My very first fight there gave me a real hunger to play Earthbound again.

The C-stick won't make the game significantly easier to control. Sure, it will be quicker to put out a smash attack, but I doubt there are many who have trouble with that as is. I've been finding it way harder to pull off a regular directional attack than a smash.

There is some use to metacritic. If a game can get over 90% there, with a pool of toxic fucks deciding, then that is probably a pretty damn good game. Any lower than that, and it is not to be trusted.

The second problem may be solved on the Wii U version. The way they've changed character model borders makes keeping track of your character much easier. It's a problem I've had in SSB's before, and I haven't had it once here. The bigger screen will only improve that.
