The Tyranids will slaughter you all.
The Tyranids will slaughter you all.
I'm a huge 40k fan, and I want to love it, but... those voice actors. I just can't. It sounds like it was written in japanese, translated into english by 4kids, translated into a spanish soap opera, translated back into english, and fed to an elementary school drama club's special ed division. The initial voices were…
That's true; Kotaku does seem to do a good job with filtering. I do still see ridiculous trolls climb up the page on Gawker with disturbing regularity, though.
Quickly scrolling down the front page, I see... DayZ, Yawgh, SpyParty, Company of Heroes 2, and the Starcraft 2 spawning update. So 5 PC-exclusive articles, one of which was one of the big Blizzard games which Kotaku apparently doesn't keep up with. No console ports, and three indie games.
...So, you're just here to troll. Carry on, sorry for feeding.
So, you're clearly not the target audience. For many of us, psychonauts and brutal legend are both solid 9s. I think you may be unfamiliar with subjectivity.
Oooooh. I fucking adored Gladius as a kid. Good tip
I'm confused... you're against supporting and placing trust in people who have a proven track record of greatness?
I hope the actual product is a remake. I read the update, but I wouldn't put it past Molyneux to say all that, call it a full remake, and then the end product is just up-rezzed.
I will buy it if the fable dog shoots bees.
It's the one game that came out of the THQ auction with actually improved prospects.
Still, nothing on that list can measure up to the sheer bar-dropping power of Honey Boo Boo.
THE GREATEST PIONEEEEEER
That's perfectly fair, but I can't imagine 8 button combos actually being necessary. Even hardcore combo games generally only make those necessary on Very Hard.
I used to think like this. Then I actually bothered to play a fighting game for a couple days the way I religiously played RPGs where I just hit attack. It really isn't hard to learn, unless you're old and don't know where every button on the controller is, in which case you probably wouldn't know what kotaku is…
A perfectly valid argument... if it weren't for the fact that the Season Pass was sold under the idea that it was for DC characters.
In an average game, defining the character as gay or straight is pointless, as you've said. In neither case is a person defined by their sexuality.
But the result of those constraints is that there is one planet where gay romance exists, and everywhere else in the universe homosexuality is nonexistent, even if you've got gay romance from said planet. It's offensive on a level worse than just not having anything at all.
In fairness, as an Arizonan, I know several people who would say your original post with utter, complete seriousness.
It would've been amazing if they just got Platinum as the gameplay designers, and kept Joe Mad and his creative team on for art, story, etc.
