You don’t need an institution to back your claim, because its authenticity is mathematically guaranteed by the blockchain it’s on.

This is, more or less, how all art works.
So...what is it about THIS game, specifically, that has people so crazy about it?
My original post implied nothing it didn’t explicitly say.
No, what’s ridiculous is claiming a game’s ludonarrative dissonance bothered you so much and made you feel so uncomfortable that you felt you had to stop playing it.
Posing a solution is not alienating just because it isn’t the only solution.
They being Blizzard, as an excuse. It’s the classic act as if sexuality is the problem approach rather than acknowledging that it’s not the same thing as thier real world harassment problem.
What you need is to understand that people have different thoughts.
Oh hey, another assumptive take on this issue that it’s Activision running damage control...
Yeah not all of the good stuff made it over in its best forms. Fully will agree to that.
Which good parts of 4e made it into 5e? Advantage I guess.
While not fantasy based...Eclipse Phase is probably my favorite system and setting.
The rules are meant to just be a framework that the players and DM tweak to tell their story. What the article states is arguably wrong with D&D 5E could be solved by a DM being flexible and a decent storyteller.
idk how it compares to 4e though, I haven’t played that one.
i hear the exact opposite. ive heard nothing but bad things about P2e. they say it removes all the good things about 3.5/PF1e. most people went to PF1 because they hated 4e D&D and I keep hearing PF2e is most like 4e D&D.
Well treating human beings in a humane and dignified manner requires you to see them as human beings.
So they’re going the demonize the body and demonize sexuality route
Yeah I’ve heard that 2e is a pretty good improvement overall. Still need to find myself a copy and then find a group to try it sometime.
In the process of playing it myself. Getting by some of the crunch with old 3.5 knowledge of how things generally work. And god there is sooo much crunch to keep track of...but I do have some suggestions for surviving it.
To be fair, that generally covers the last 3 expansions Forsaken -> Now.
