There’s a certain irony to the fact that the author seems to try to approach a male “talent agent” who has numerously been accused of tricking girls into escorting with journalistic neutrality (on a tabloid-y website like Jezebel, where - let’s be honest - accusations are often treated as facts), giving him countless

I feel like you might hang out with the wrong men.

i knew she’s married to mumford, but i didn’t know how they first met. that’s adorable - and, i mean, how unlikely is it that they would both become successful, famous artists? (are we sure they didn’t make that up? it’s just toooo great a story...)

wait - what’s the story of how she and her husband met?

1) Gregory Mankiw is a horrible neo-con, but his book “Principles of Economics” is one of the most popular basic economics textbooks and fairly easy to understand. It’s great if you want to get a quick introduction into how the economy is framed in an academic context by neo-con/neo-classical thinkers and also if you

Thank you for saying all of that - this is exactly how I feel:

Excellent use of John Ralphio!

This is actually a remake of a German movie and I know this is of topic and a cliche thing to say but the Americanized version looks not nearly as good as the original (which was only good but not great anyways).

This is my favorite comment ever. And probably my favorite thing to ever happen on the internet not involving Hannibal Buress*.

I tried to find a close up of the shoes, but actually found something way better:

I feel like this dress is meant to be worn by Keira Knightley starring as Daisy in a Great Gatsby stage adaptation.

I'm a bit late to comment on this, but I'll do it anyway. I agree with Braintree II, Ageofa and others who said that while the show's treatment of race is certainly not 100 % perfect all the time (esp. by the Native American Jacqueline/Jackie Lyn plot, though I was more confused than offended by it), the show does try

I'm pretty sure that if parents who weren't super famous/rich had subjected their kids to anything remotely as horrifyingly dangerous, child protective services would have taken them away immidiately. Also tigers aren't psychopaths, they're animals. Geez, stupid people with too much money are the worst.

Madeleine f-ing Davies responding to my post blew my fucking mind.

I've never seen that show, but I remember hearing her talk about that on Riki Lindhome's "Making It" podcast (which is great, BTW).

It's weird to me that people don't think of her as a comedic actress because I've never seen Criminal Minds and to me, she'll always be Joey's girlfriend that Chandler was in love with.

I think you have to factor in that her show is probably very cheap to produce and she's the only high-paid celebrity on the show, whereas the Today Show people and Big Bang Theory actors have to divide the money among themselves.

Well, yeah, I get that the designers want recognition. But I think it's problematic how closely the fashion industry is connected to these Award Shows. Because it ultimately puts pressure on actresses to look a certain way (read: designer sample skinny) and care about certain things that have nothing to do with being

I love, love, love awards show fashion. Yet, I think the focus on how actresses* look at these events is highly problematic, and the "Who are you wearing?" question is part of that. Why? Because it ties a woman's accomplishments (in this case, getting nominated for an Award, or at least having a successful enough

Yup, this! The photo of them in the car together, with Taylor driving and Karlie taking a picture of her is exactly what I pictured the Style video should look like.
