I once got into an hour-long drunk argument on whether Tom Hanks seemed like a douchebag (I thought so, everyone else didn't), only to realize that I had gotten Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks confused.

I freaking adore her, too. Not even because of Saved, but because How to deal was one of 16-year-old me's favorite movies. I thought they were an odd couple, mainly 'cause she seems like the nicest, coolest person to hang out with, and he seems like someone who's rather... difficult and way too into his own hype. But

WTF New York Times!? WTF Alessandra Stanley?! Do you guys wanna borrow my "Get your shit together" motivational post-it? I feel like you guys need it more than I even though I ate peanut puffs for lunch and dinner yesterday and spend 90 % of the time I should be working on job applications watching shows I don't even

Can someone please explain to me WTF the difference between "marsala" and oxblood is? 'Cause I sure as hell don't see a difference. I mean, I get that the fashion industry has to push a new "trend color" every season so they can trick people into buying sh*t that they don't really need. But are they now actually

I guess it's great that Kim Kardashian helped Demi Lovato, but I immediately thought of what Tina Fey said in "Bossypants":

This feels more like a satire of an article Jezebel (or Joan of Snark) would publish than successful satire in and of itself.

To quote Key and Peele: "Oh, I get it, I'm not persecuted, I'm just an a**hole."

In defense of Aziz's performance in Brooklyn (though I didn't see it): Aziz is notorious for "testing" his new bits in front a smaller audience to polish his act until it's ready for larger crowds. A surprise stand up set sounds like something he set up to test new material. Maybe that whole street harassment bit

Not gonna lie, I ... really like this song. *hides head under hands in shame* It kinda sounds like a Katy-Perry-fied cross between Bruce Springsteen and Mumford and Sons?! Which shouldn't be a good thing, I guess, but... it's really catchy.

Am I the only person who actually thinks hearing about people's dreams is super fascinating? Because I love hearing friend's crazy dream stories and I do quite often tell my friends about my dreams if they're amusing/interesting (like that one time Ryan Lochte showed up as my roommate's buddy and I just kept thinking:

Yup. My reaction to the article was "Wow, I had never thought about it that way - that makes so much sense", too, which is why I thought I'd share it. I think the reason why Kristen Stewart, the celebrity, has to face so much ridicule and hatred is sort of the same why there aren't any female cowboy roles: Hollywood

I haven't really seen that many of her movies, so I don't have a strong opinion on her acting either way (though I've never understood people's hatred towards her as a person), but I strumbled across this article recently that I think makes a pretty strong point for her not being a bad actress, just mistcast in most

Well great, thanks Kelly, now I'm gonna have this song stuck in my head for the rest of the week...

Taylor. Then you'd get to hang out with Lena Dunham and Lorde and Tavi, plus she has really cute cats.

Does anyone know under which conditions these clothes are produced? Because while the lack of fashionable plus size clothing is indeed not fair, the first thing I think of when I hear "fair" in the context of a fashion line is "fair trade", fair labor conditions. I don't know what the conditions for the workers

The fact that a Beckham child is old enough to date makes me feel really old.

There are actually some pretty great female country artist right now - though, sadly, bro-y bad country might be getting more attention/air play. Kacey Musgrave is great. Miranda Lambert has some pretty great songs about not taking any sh*t from anyone. So does her band, Pistol Annies. So does her bandmate, Ashley

I (- as a feminist and someone who likes Swift-) don't get the hate Swift gets from some feminists either. I think it mostly steems from some stuff she said/wrote quite a while ago (like, pre hanging out with Dunham/Lorde/Tavi)- Autostraddle had an article on how terrible Taylor Swift is for feminism a few years ago,

I just went through the list, and - yes - there's only one WOC on the list. But there are quite a few men of color on the list, like Idris Elba and Pharell. Honestly, by Vanity Fair standards, the list isn't that bad in terms of including POC.
(And don't get me started on how inherently stupid "best dressed" lists
