Maurice Possley of The National Registry of Exonerations explains all that and more: https://www.law.umich.edu/special/exoneration/Pages/casedetail.aspx?caseid=5904 On the off chance that you don’t go read it, which you absolutely should do, the answer is largely the slow grind of the court’s calendar and a bunch of

Yeah. I’d like some insight into how he was even prosecuted, let alone convicted, if he had an alibi that could have been confirmed by 1) the credit card issuer for the card you must to have to rent a car or interviews with the people at the Hertz counter. Even if Hertz couldn’t provide a simple receipt (WTF?!), they

Now playing

Probably the prosecutor’s actions led to this. Notice they are still keeping the case open, and won’t say the receipt is proof he’s innocent. Can’t get Patrice O’Neal’s routine about receipts out of my head now, ‘cause that brother was right!

If we’re not careful, some of that gubmint money might end up in the dirty little hands of those people. Better just give it back.

Anybody with some legal acumen want to explain how the conviction was overturned in 2018 but he wasn't free until 2020? Aside from the system not giving a shit, how do you explain this?

I guess that’s better than, “Take the stimulus money and give it to your cronies instead of the people who need it.”

For once I agree with Rick Scott, He is 100% correct. Dear Republicans and conservatives that have no issue demonizing blue states despite living off of our taxes do not accept once cent of that money. All you states that swear that Joe Biden isn’t The President refuse that filthy money. For if you accept it you by

Add to this the GOP put forth a proposal to repeal the estate tax today, a 1.9 trillion tax cut that effected 1900 families last year and none of those were family farms.

But we can’t afford minimum wage hike or the Pandemic Stimulus...

I’m pretty sure I know who the seller is as he was also selling a very reasonably priced 360 Modena with a 6-speed manual last year that I missed out on. Based on his Instagram (where this car appears), he seems to just like churning through cars and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.

I agree on that the exhaust is juvenile as in I bet the first time you downshift and punch it - you’ll morph back into a giggly teenager.

Do you work in Trumbull or Shelton?

God I love that car. It’s aged so well, and the proportions are phenomenal. Aesthetically it may be (I need to reflect further) one of the 10-best looking models of all time IMO.

The guy who owns the office park where I work has a 550 (or 575? I can’t tell the two apart) and an F12. Sadly, like most F owners he doesn’t drive them much. I got this pic two years ago on one of those rare occasions.

The problem is, if I were to buy it (which I will not) I would drive the crap out of it.

This is hitting the point where it will bottom out in depreciation and start creeping back up again because Ferrari. This will be worth 3x the price in 15-20 years for sure as it is one of the last manual V12 Ferraris. Get a really good PPI from a specialist or Ferrari dealership, replace the cats if you need to, and

I’m with you. I like these cars. This appears to be in good shape but the ad just seem odd. This is a Ferrari with a gated manual, why the hell is it on Craigslist? Also you’d think a Ferrari listing would be meticulous with details. “BBS RI-S wheels”, not “Custom Wheels”

Those of you who may remember my comments here know that I will often say Crack pipe on a car that is both expensive or potentially expensive to maintain, and has a lot of depreciation in its future.

V12 Coupe with Pop Up headlights and Stratospheric maintenance costs what could go wrong.

Due to window sizing, I saw the image before seeing the price, and - having no idea what they go for - my gut told me “anything under $70k.”

While I’m more partial to the 550/575, these were so elegant. Lovely interior color. Gated manual seals the deal.
