Every manufacturer should emulate the 1999 Honda Accord and Civic. Big knobs and buttons are the only controls I want. Touch screens are an enraging nuisance.

Get a first generation Scion xB, upgrade the suspension for highway 80 mph travel and turbocharge the motor.

I would definitely want a Qvale Mangusta or Panoz Esperante(mis?) instead and fwiw I was even thinking “yeah a Qvale Mangusta would make a lot more sense.”

Mazda did me wrong when they stopped selling us their Mazda 2. If the next Miata is offered to Americans with the 1.5 motor, crank windows and hubcaps for $21k, I'll be able to get over that.

The c pillar apes the 2-series four door model, widely recognized as a less than marvelous car purchase. The Hoffmeister Kink is gone!

I agree with you about the Impossible Burger. It doesn't even have health advantages. It promotes itself as a treat for special occasions! I had a mostly positive experience eating it (aftertaste was noted but the one I got tasted like a decent hamburger) but yeah.

The Lucid Air is amazing. The Saudi investment in it ticks me off. (Either way I’m not about to buy a car with a six digit MSRP.)

A used Model S has a gigantic hatchback and might have eternal free supercharging depending on what model year it is.

I still despise touch screens in cars.

Please remind me where we’re supposed to charge these things.

Ooooops that’s GMT360; and I forgot the Isuzu Ascender!

If I was a silly rich collector I’d want one of each of the GM360 SUVs, especially the Rainier, Bravada, Trailblazer SS, Envoy XUV, and 9-7 Aero.

Nice price if you’re a Leno-level collector with affection for Chrysler products.

Resto mod? You can repaint it and reinstall the bumpers. What else about it is resto mod?

Other EVs besides the Bolt are pretty expensive and the cheapest Tesla you can get is now $37k.

Is that the fwd Impala SS/Grand Prix GXP motor? Those cars came out a lot more recently than 1986. Who on earth had a twenty years old Zimmer and figured let's put a V8 in it? It makes sense, but yeah.

Fantastic

Hell yes. Fiero V8 with Liberace body work? That's a bargain. Could be fun.

Sad and disappointing.

We don’t have a driveway to charge a car in. I drive at least seventy miles a day so the EVs I’d want —something silly like an i-MieV or Spark EV— might not suffice.
