“Why dont they go for more interesting conspiracy theories?”

My thought on this sort of thing is that in a videogame, its perfectly acceptable to make the story more than 2 hours long, and thus put more substance and detail into it.  Immersion might also kick the perceived quality up a few notches.

Does it not have accessibility options for that?  Their other game, Control, had a whole slew of “assist mode” options for combat if you just wanted the story.  It would be weird for them not to also have that for a later game.
